Just to keep u posted I fractured my jaw in the 6 th round last week so just resting should be back dec 7 th! Plus I watched the fight I was very poor. Training went well an I just thought I had to turn up anyway a lesson learnt..... Thanks for continued support

Good honesty there Frankie. It was quite an uninspired performance but the lesson is there that you must be on your game for every fight you have.

Barnes IMO Stunk the place out he flitted out the jab with no conviction & never tried to win so the fight was never gonna catch fire. I'm disappointed with Barnes I felt fitness could of been an issue but he seemed fit just didnt go through the gears. Talented Barnes but he's lost his drive sometime ago. He can punch & was once promising but seemed happy to come second best & last the course I don't think there is much a fighter can do when faced with that & if your jaw was bust you couldn't of done anymore.
You've got 12rds in the bag paid i hope & still undefeated that's what it's about hopefully the next opponent comes to win

Unless you can bang, fighting an Italian title holder is a fool's errand.

Paulie would be a good opponent for Frankie to showcase his skills, aggressive, high speed... When that opportunity for US exposure comes Frankie's way, his handlers need to get it right. It would be so easy to burn him for life with a bad match.

As Lenny Daws and so many others will testify,maybe with Wazza bringing more exposure to the table if the Bundu fight was made and if he made a deal about the scoring BEFORE the fight then Gavin would get a fair crack of the whip,who knows? buts its a route id like to see Frankie take,even more so if they can get Leornard over here

Mallignaggi on the other hand would be a great scalp especially after his battling performance against Adrien Broner,it would be a very tricky fight for Gavin and not one id be certain he,d win but he,s cleaned up domesticlly,Khan and Brook have other engagements so its time to step up or imagine they could get Erik Morales over like they did with Khan/Barrera a few year back

Lesson learned (i.e. never under-estimate or overlook an opponent). I'm sure Frankie will come back stronger from that below par performance and hopefully he will put on a boxing masterclass in his next fight. It was a bad clash of styles, to put it mildly. However, Frankie was never in danger of losing the fight.

A win isn't always a win in boxing. Irrespective of what level of challenge he thought Dave would pose, he's now in the international shop window and if he doesn't catch the eye nobody will put their hand in their pocket to buy. Frankie is now at the stage of his career where he could be on the cusp of making a lot of money, if that's what he wants every fight has to catch the eye.
