Live on sky tonight; the only good news about Haye cancelling is this now gets shown as normal - I'm guessing it was part of the pay per view originally.
Good fight TB will be watching & Cloud is a live underdog
Adonis Stevenson v Cloud
Re: Adonis Stevenson v Cloud
Will they be showing the chavez farce too?
Re: Adonis Stevenson v Cloud
They're different promotions, I don't think the JCC fight is being shown live in the UK.

Re: Adonis Stevenson v Cloud
I haven't seen a lot of Cloud, as must have seen one or two of his and got bored, but interesting to see him touted as a "puncher" now....surely not in the Stevenson league, but likely hits hard enough to trouble superman if he connects a few times.
Either Adonis is on an unstoppable roll, one of those dynamic purple patches that will seem him steam roll 3 or 4 back to back, or he's a one hit wonder, a typical big hitter with a fragile chin, who will get exposed here by a guy with a very good chin.
Was the Boone result a give away, or maybe a freak result, where he just walked on to a perfect shot ?
I think his chin might be decent, as there have been no other signs, but maybe those muscles will cause him to gas, if the sturdy Cloud hangs tough.....might have a bet on Cloud here

I dare say a freak result, Boone has a reputation for landing freak shots. Put Ward on his arse, held Lajuan Simon to a "draw", was unfortunate against Craig McEwan and dropped Kovalev I believe,MightyWarrior wrote:I haven't seen a lot of Cloud, as must have seen one or two of his and got bored, but interesting to see him touted as a "puncher" now....surely not in the Stevenson league, but likely hits hard enough to trouble superman if he connects a few times.

Re: Adonis Stevenson v Cloud
Yeah I've seen blurred footage of it, and it looks like he rushes onto a perfect punch. But even before his title win, Adonis was knocking some pretty sturdy fighters flat - a really chilling puncher, up there with Golovkin, Donaire and co.
I doubt Tony Bellew cares either way, but if Cloud wins, they might get home advantage here, as I'm not sure the guys a draw anywhere but his own front room.
Really, I hope Adonis wins, as there's nothing more exciting in boxing than a hitter of his caliber, and there's always the chance of seeing a spectacular KO either way...he's a bit of a Nigel Benn type.
