Who has the most chance of winning ?

Post by jessi »

All will start huge underdogs, but which one is most likely to pull off an upset ?

Have two votes if you can't decide on just one.

Really good question but I've had to go for Groves v Froch, as Groves is the only one who has a realistic chance of avoiding punches.

Groves will get hit, but it's a case of how often, groves does carry enough power to cause an upset, but froch's chin is granite and his going to be hard to outpoint.
I would love to see wlad ko'd by povetkin, but just think wlad will box to safe if he smells any danger, fury needs to go in for the kill with haye, when haye lands it's over IMO. Bellew will need every bit of his boxing skills and get on his bike at times to avoid Stevenson's left hand. Tony can do it, was Dawson and cloud really that good of opponents !

Was torn between Groves and Fury, decided to go with Fury. Povetkin's only hope is to land big and I can't see bomber standing up to Stevenson's shots.

In order of chances of victory for the underdog.
1 Groves beats Froch.
2 Tyson beats Sicknote.
3 Bellew beats Stephenson
4 Povetkin beats Wlad.

Yes I'd agree with that, although I wouldn't argue if you had 2 and 3 the other way around

Who I want to win.

1) Fury - just so sicknote can finally eff off.
2) Groves - I like his style.
3) Stephenson - Bellew too gobby and not that good.
4) Don't care.

As per other thread. Povetkin will win.

I think Fury has a chance of beating Haye, if he concentrate and doesn't stick his chin out. I also think the delay in the fight is better for Tyson.

I can't foresee any way of Groves not getting knocked out by Froch. In fact, I think Bellew has a better chance than Groves.

Yes! Both a level above Clev, who has already beaten Bellew.

I've gone with Groves even though I'm a massive fan of Froch. Just think he moves well and may get a decision. But at the same time Froch could walk through him Bute style.

Wlad fight will be boring, won't even watch.

Would love to see Bellew win but can't see it after Cloud performance.

Haye will KO Fury. Speed, power, movement, skills, timing, experience all in Haye's favour. Fury only has the size advantage and heart. Not even a great chin.

I agree with nearly all of that, I've got a strange feeling povetkin v wlad is going to be a cracker :bag:

fury has the best chance of beating haye because we all know haye is a little thin around the whiskers and fury is a big puncher and can just keep haye at long range

Fury has never kept anyone at long range, not even Cunningham, and he's not exactly made of iron either. I'm going with the guy who has done well against big guys, against the guy who hasn't really done well against anyone.

I would say haye has a good chin and fury isn't really a big puncher so there you go, different opinions

i understand your opinion but the thread was opinion based and out of all the options here i think haye has the best chance of losing to fury over froch losing to groves, klits losing to povetkin and stevenson losing to bellew. i was merely giving my reason why i think fury has the best chance of winning over the other options. dont get me wrong i think haye will beat fury but like i say the options in the thread fury has the best chance.

i think haye will win but the options in this thread fury has the best chance of winning over the other options imo.

I think it has to be bellew. We always talk about different levels in boxing and haye, wlad and froch have been operating at much higher levels on a consistent basis than Stevenson has. That's why I'm going with bellew

I give

Fury 40% chance
Groves 30% chance
Povetkin 25% (bar a hometown decision)

Haven't really seen enough of Stevenson so judge on that one.
