Doncaster dome
Another brilliant show last night at the Doncaster dome some absolute wars took place these shows need some televion exposure because al tell you something it was far more enjoyable than the show on sky last week
Re: Doncaster dome
Yeah, good show that.
Some good competitive matchmaking, no long huge gaps between fights and more importantly, the crowd were there for the undercard fights, meaning the atmosphere was good.
There was certainly a buzz about the whole evening that is often lacking from some of the TV shows I've been to there.
Jeez, finally, they opened the bar(s) inside the hall and put up a screen to stop people gawping from the back.

Really impressed with gavin the kid keeps getting better I think he would give ghalahad a competitive fight and the munroe v townend fight was a pearler that won't have done andy no harm what so ever showed tremendous heart to get through the fight after the 2 knockdowns from the body shots

Thanks for kind words we had an amazing show packed to rafters with some proper fights Andy Townend shown he wasn't out his depth with Munroe in a Gatti style performance Gavin McDonnell is now mandatory to British title hope you all enjoyed the show fights are now on YouTube Townend v Munroe round 7 please watch it :-) cheers Stefy
Re: Doncaster dome
Townend impressed me for someone with so few fights. He always looked dangerous, had some good punches and was looking to box. There's definitely no quit in him. I thought he was down for good after that second body shot but you could just see him grit his teeth and push himself back up.

Yes he did amazing 8 pro fights only 24 yrs old going in with 1 of the best British fighters over the last few years and holding his own Andy is a throw back fighter and wants to fight the best he's a big ticket seller who wouldn't like his style i tried matching him with the likes of Leight early on and he said no he doesn't want to fight people he knows he can beat.. What an attitude he's a pleasure to manage such a nice kid just loves to fight
