Jackson probably hit as hard as Hearns, although not with the pinpoint accuracy of the Cobra. 9 out of 10, Duran wins by late KO or on points. 1 out of 10, he finishes the fight asleep on his face. No knock, virtually everyone ends one out of ten Jackson fights asleep.

The technically sound, defensively superior Duran would have little problem thrashing Jackson, probably by a late KO.
The only time Duran had difficulties was when he didn't train seriously, which was a problem later in his career.

With the great Marvin Hagler, Duran, even though that he trained hard for that fight, was slow. And Hagler does not hit as hard as the Hawk. And Iran Barkley, was in front of Duran, the way Duran likes it, but he was supposed to ahniliate a washed up Duran, and he did not. It was one of boxing's miracles that night. He almost got KO'd in the middle rounds. And he does not hit as hard as Julian either. Great win for Hands of Stone anyway, but if they would have fought again, Barkley would have won each and every time. Jackson was not Davey Moore. He hit hard.

i'm going with Jackson by KO ,duran wasn't very good at 154 other than the davey moorer mugging . jackson was a decent boxer before he lost his eye sight as well as being the hardest puncher i have ever seen . i see this being a close fight but jackson would land at some point .

Duran wasn't great at 154 but nobody came right at him and whipped his ass, ever. Tommy had the length and boxing ability to set his bombs up, Jackson didn't possess those qualities.

The Hawk was a good fighter but only thrived because of his power.
Duran was great.
Don't disregard his exceptional chin and will.
A one-trick pony wouldn't beat an in-shape, motivated Duran even at 154.
Bet on Jackson if you wish. At least you won't have to wait in line to collect.
