Tim wins every time, no matter what the distance, barring the occasional flash knockdown. Witherspoon could box, and Tua couldn't.

Witherspoon by wide decision or early stoppage. Tua really has nothing to bother him with.

If he stopped him it would be early.

Witherspoon all day. Tua only had power and Witherspoon could handle power, in addition and unlike Tua he could also box.

'Spoon might stop Tua but certainly he could win an easy decision. His boxing brain and skillset is way too much for David Tua.

Agree with the consensus. Terrible Tim dominates his as completely as Lewis did.

Witherspoon without the toxic King messing with his head/finances and training and eating properly....beats Tua with some ease.

Technically on another level; a sharp, hurtful and scoring jab, good head movement and the ability to block/roll off Tua's punches or simply make David throw his bombs at thin air and start blowing hard amd leave himself open to some very hurtful counters.

I think Witherspoon would have to somewhat off his game in order to lose this one.

But as was the case with Tim...it could happen. David's no walk in the park.

That's it in a nutshell.....a motivated, fit and prime Tim could well give Tua quite a painful boxing lesson.
But the whole 'King Thing' was (pardon the dreadful pun) pretty terrible for Tim

The encounters with Smith are a case in point.....won their first fight in 1985 pretty handily, but 18 months later he was borderline disinterested and got taken out by James. Not all King's fault of course - he tends to get demonised for everything - but I really don't think he was good for Tim.
