The punching power of Benn at super middle is overrated. I doubt he would have lived with the work rate of Calzaghe or Froch. Froch by UD or late stoppage.

I also think Froch beat Benn by wide decision.Benn good puncher but Froch has a great chin and long fast hands.

Calzaghe would have clowned him, but Froch, I'm not so sure. They both have superb chins and indomitable will; I see it going the distance in brutal style, and though I'd give a slight edge to Froch, I'm sure Benn takes 4 out of 10.

Hearns vs Froch?

Woul;d be a great fight - not just in the matching up of it, but I can see it being a real slugfest. And I'd favour a Froch TKO by the late rounds - natfer wearing down Hearns chin, in much the same way as Hagler did.

Regarding that, I belive that Hearns' style would have been all wrong for Joe - who could be knocked down with a good shot - ask Hopkins or Jones Jr.

Froch stops him late on I think, after an absolute tear up.

I think Froch's chin is the deciding factor, but Benn would be dangerous if he can land more than the occasional bomb.

Sorry excuse me, for some reason I mistook Nigel Benn for Tom my Hearns...

And for the record, Froch beats Benn by points. - I'd love to see the fight though.

I regard Benn as the better fighter and more cleaner/clinical puncher of the two.

If he could hold it together without his stamina depleting until late I think Benn would get a decision.

Froch late stoppage in a barnburner.
