Lonsdale Belt and EBU for sale

Back in Benn's era they had cups (there's a photo somewhere of him with it on his head) but these days it's a belt, dark leather with a big rainbow thing on it.

The EBU belt used to be quite a thin thing with the EBU middle bit looking like a belt buckle but these days it looks like all the other belts, albeit in blue leather.

I got told they cost 10 grand to make,, I know a few fighters who sold there's an it's makes me think how much they would of regretted it once the money was spent.

I also cannot see why an individual would want to but one for themselves.

What about art collectors, can you see why they buy stuff? Or biscuit tin collectors? Or toy car collectors? Or lepidopterists? Or philatelists? Etc..?

no matter what happens now that lonsdale belt is yours for ever ,, i'm sure in 30 years time there will be dozens of titles available like WFB,IFB,IBO but there will only ever be one lonsdale belt

Asked about the belt-
Clinton isn't selling the belt, we bought it off him a few years ago and now need to sell.
We're still in contact with Clinton so if there was any query over authenticity we'd arrange a letter from him.


Why would someone sell this I don't understand..

Craig the seller owned both of Clintons Lonsdale belts, they sold one not too long ago for 11k.

The commonwealth used to be called the empire title not sure if that was cup or belt??
