Yes and I've also seen WBA. Thought the better of the 2 bads would win at home. Looks like a night on the couch is on route.

It wasn't even close, I was so tempted to pile into Stevenson by stoppage at 4/6 but bottled it as I had that doubt in the back of my mind that Cloud had the chin to do 12.

D'oh. Luckily it was only a smallish accumulator bet in the end. Didn't see that coming, would like to watch it now.

I think Villarreal to beat Real Betis away tonight at odds of 2.9 is good value. They are playing some good football and have started the season really well, winning 4 of 6 (2 draws, 1 of which was 2-2 vs Madrid) whilst Betis have only managed 1 win. Villarreal draw no bet 2.1.

What MUG football bets are we on today guys?

I'm going under 2.5 goals in the Stoke game and overs in the Sunderland match.

You know when people do the £1 accumulators on 10 football team outcomes and can win thousands, well I'm going to have £10 on povetkin, groves and bellew and potentially win about £1,000 :box:

Van Wolfswinkel to score first and game to finish 1-1. 35/1. Bet will be refunded if game finishes in draw.

OK chaps, who likes the 11/4 on offer for Wlad by decision?

Wlad has nothing any more but a jab and a clinch. He doesn't open up, he doesn't commit to throwing his right hand. Even against a bum like Pianeta he was scared to throw the right. I think he is happy to coast through this fight pumping out his 20 jabs a round and winning a routine decision.

The last time I saw Wolfswinkel was in the NIA circa 1997. Admittedly there was a thin film of Lycra between my eyes and the offending article but it was still as clear as day. Awooga.

Possibly, Iv never seen povetkin in any sort of real trouble, on the other hand Vlad may have the KO on his mind given he's in the Russians backyard.

Salinas @ 5/1 looks overpriced, the Cuban looks pretty cute and and cuteness might be Quigg's achilles heel.

Yeah, been looking at it, just apprehensive if Pov cuts or is stopped.

Not seen much of Delvin Rodriguez but some respected Yanks are tipping him to win. Will have to do a bit of home work and look him up some more as hes 4/1 to beat cotto.

Huck had Povetkin bouncing around the ring I'd be inclined to side with the Wladimir stoppage.

Do you think the fix is in on the cards or would you back Povetkin wherever the fight was being held?

I think on the espn podcast this week, Buncey mentioned about having a small wager with Barry Jones on Povetkin winning. Seemed a bit off the cuff - wonder if Buncey was reading into the rumours of dodgy 'mafia influenced' judging ... or if he genuinely thinks that Povetkin has the beating of Wlad.

Separately, towards the end of the show they did do a 'for/against' feature for both fighters with Barry arguing why Wlad would win and Bunce arguing why Povetkin would win, which I'm sure they would have done regardless of who Bunce thinks was going to win. (e.g. - a bit like that crap panel show, 'Argumental' - where you can tell that the people don't actually give a toss about what they're arguing about)

I think Povetkin stops him. I think there will be plenty of underhand stuff going on.

Surely you should have had some on Pov stoppage then too. 10/1 you can get!

I really, really, hope it comes off. But it won't.

Keith, do you mind showing us your betting slip?

I'm backing the Povetkin/Salinas double purely for value. Quigg taking a massive step in a 50/50. Salinas massively overpriced. Solid defence, thinking fighter and doesn't waste a shot.

Let's hope not. If Wlad knocks him out before the judges can do their work - then I don't want to see Povetkin turn up in some Russian dumpster on Monday morning with two in the back of the head. :-?
