By Victoria "La Reyna De Guerra" Cisneros; Thanks for all your support!!
Ringside 2013 world Tournament was such a big experience thanks to Abogado William McBride Mr and Mrs Joe Chavez from Chavez Promotions from me and my amateur team that got to go to it thru their support, by the way Lawyer William McBride won the Heavyweight title at ringside in the Masters Division, This tournament was something I had never done or seen before. Over 1200 boxer and maybe twice as many proud parents which many I got to meet and many mothers that were surprised that I was a USA coach also a professional boxer and a proud mother of my son Jaime Rodriqiez who finished second in the 11 yr old World Tournament so proud of him and many others that were there and fought their hearts out. I was so proud to see these amateurs fighting daily win or lose they looked proud and as I know you sometimes have to face the best to be the best and they did with honor. It takes a lot to get in the ring and do what we do including training hard daily for any fight much less these big fights. I met trainers from all over the world there and so many from all over the United States they were all so friendly and also were very helpful when needed. New Mexico had teams from Farmington, Las Cruces, And My team from Albuquerque which more could of gone would have been so much fun to see them all there. New Mexico boxers representing the 505 and 575 were James Cisneros Rodriquez 90 lb 11 yr old got second in World , Rio Rancho David Duchaussee 123 18 yr old open, Albuquerque Christian Garcia 125 upen 16 yr old, Aztec, N.M. Jennifer Mendoza 125 lb girls open 14 yr old, Las Cruces Jaime Aguilar 123 lb novice 18 yr old, Las Cruces Edwin Acosta 141 lb 18 yr old novice got second in World, Las Cruces Issac Medina 110 novice 116 yr old, Mesquite, N.M. Amy Salinas won World Tournament at 95 lbs 12 yr old, Anthony Nez won Masters, Teddy Draper also in Masters. Great showing New Mexico!! De parte de La Reyna De Guerra Cisneros.

I was glad when I heard about the switch to the 10 point must..until it actually happened and I saw terrible decision after worse decision...Im so sick of hearing "it happens in boxing get used to it", what does that say to the kid who just got "shafted" after busting his ass for a fight, tthat he should've won? I eanna know WHY? Why does this "happen in boxing" all the time? Poor training and zero accountability are the two answers that first come to mind. And,after reading the interpretation of the 10 point must that they are using, I think it was a bad idea to change. I've seen too many scores that make no sense at all, these fights should all be taped and reviewed, and if judges cant get it right, they need to be replaced, just like anyone else who fails to do their job adequately...
