yeah i think he was talking balls i looked all week and 6/1 was for the KO no one would have been stupid enough to bet a grand on povetkin.Andypittcov wrote:He's 11/4 with 365 todaykeithmoonhangover wrote:Bet365. It was 6-1 on Sunday on Bet 365. It was 11-2 at around 4 this afternoon. To win, not the stoppage.Finn wrote:yeah i think he was talking balls i looked all week and 6/1 was for the KO no one would have been stupid enough to bet a grand on povetkin.
And yes I was stupid enough to bet a grand. Most of which was my winnings from betting on fights this year.

As I said in November last year, I won £433 on Mitchell-Banks and told everyone I was gonna keep it and put it on Povetkin. I won about £400 more on Flintoff, Bellew and a couple of others, so I only really lost around the £200 mark. That said, I am taking her to a five star retreat for a couple of nights to keep her smiling.

your post count is going to be a lot lower now you're not going to be telling us povetkin will beat wlad like the last 3 years.keithmoonhangover wrote:It was more like £800 in fairness.Finn wrote:

we all get em wrong though finn, I'm surprised how quickly Keith has shown his face - it takes some knackers, there are some on here can rip people to shredsFinn wrote:your post count is going to be a lot lower now you're not going to be telling us povetkin will beat wlad like the last 3 years.keithmoonhangover wrote:It was more like £800 in fairness.Finn wrote:

I'm not touching it mate. He'll only win if he doesn't get cocky and I don't think he can help himself. Although tonight was a great example of how important size is.palooka wrote:keithmoonhangover wrote:She encouraged me to put the bet on!!!!!palooka wrote:It's alright keith, not so keen on it in any case.

Re: Betting thread
Holy chit, getting excited about my accumulators.
Had Wlad decision, New Zealand and Australia, and Australia looks to be romping home. That trio was the hard part.
Now I just need Froch stoppage for around £2,200, then after that if Haye KO 1-6, and Devon Alexander come through I'll be looking at a total of around £13,000![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Re: Betting thread
he gave it his all and thats more than most have done, wlad was allowed to outright cheat through the fight it was a disgrace. I had wlad to win 8-12 or on points in my accumulator and i was even hoping povetkin would find a wonder punch from somewhere after picking himself up 3 times in the 7th.keithmoonhangover wrote:
I'm gutted mate. It's not the money. Even if I'd have won, I would have just blown the dosh. I just really thought Sasha was gonna do it. He showed loads of guts and anyone who thinks he's scared of Wlad needs to think again. I don't like seeing my favourite fighters lose.

IMO nobody in this thread put £10 on Povetkin never mind a bag of sand!
Re: Betting thread
Yer doubled my £110 so was happy, thinking of sticking it all on cotto to win by stoppage but normally lose when I get greedy, might spend the odd £10 on picking a couple of rounds. Maybe rounds 8 and 9 at 12/1

Why would Keith want to look like an idiot then confirm it afterwards that he did put it on? He likes red wine and codeine, he's not a masochist.Hagler2002 wrote:IMO nobody in this thread put £10 on Povetkin never mind a bag of sand!

Go back to November 2012 and you'll see me winning £433 on Mitchell-Banks and telling everyone on here that I was gonna put it on.
Re: Betting thread
Had £5 on Selby, Klitschko and Quigg by decision returned £157 thought I won after Salinas survived never had such a change of emotions. Gutted.

Unlucky m8, I would have been laying a bit off Quigg was short as 1/5 in play.WelshJack wrote:Had £5 on Selby, Klitschko and Quigg by decision returned £157 thought I won after Salinas survived never had such a change of emotions. Gutted.
