Yes he's next so his manager better get his hands in his pockets and make it happen
Surely with Richard not having a promoter Wee Dave will bid for it or Eddie Hearn, either that or you give it up and he fights TBA and you move onwards.
It would be some fight between the two of you Derry, Richard's strong and punches hard but what surprised me the most was hes very clever with it, very un African like, He would imo give any LW in the UK a hard shift.

Derry may just vacate and fight Kevin which is a bigger and better fight domestically
Did you not say on another thread that Commney would beat them both as you have seen him in your gym? I prefer Derry v Commney anyway that would be a tear up that I would fancy Derry to win!! As for Mitchell I think he may just be a level above but Derry has proven me wrong before!!
Yes I did say that Richard is very strong and hits hard but is very clever with it.

The Goodwin's aren't able to put on a show of that size right now because they don't have a TV deal and Commey has only fought here a couple of times so he isn't a big draw. If it happens it will probably end up on an undercard in the North West unless it goes to the Olympia.

Why should he have to fight Mitchell he's had his shot at burns, I think it's derry's turn he deserves it

well he's beat and drew with Anthony so in my eyes he would deserve a shot first, but when Ricky fights again and perform to his ability, fighting a domestic level fighter is a step backwards.
I hope we get a rematch with Beltran then either Crawford or unification fight.

Sorry but if Derry can't prove he's better then Mitchell he shouldn't step anywhere near burns!!!

If you can't get merited wins you can't ask burns to fight simple as!!!

I like Derry but he has to believe in himself & roll the dice simple as.

I think Derry deserves a little time off after his last few fights. Mitchell fight makes sense to see where both are at and winner goes onto workd level. Crolla-Gethin is a good fight if Gethin is fit

If Mitchrell were to beat Derry do you honestly want to see him get another beating from Ricky? Ricky has nothing to prove there whatsoever, Kevin can make up all the excuses he wants,I never trained right, who's faults that? now Ricky can't punch or is it Kevin can't take a punch?
With the fullest of respect whoever won between the two IMO would still need to fight someone at world level before any fight with Ricky

I wouldn't have thought either will be on more than Audley wanted when Steve brought him over for Adams.

I would love the fight but it's got to be worth a good offer with options for better things after it etc
In other words Eddie to guarantee the winner a crack at Burns.

Thats a fair demand on your part but would Billy / Burns agree to that? Eddie will have to use all that charm of his

And hopefully it isn't en eliminator like the Rees v Crolla winner got a shot at Burns, as long as that winner was Rees........

to be fair to Burns / Billy they said they knew nothing about that if that was promised by Hearn to Crolla/Rees and Sky (as they seemed to think it was a done deal) then they should take it up with him.

Reckon thats why Derry says h wants somthing on paper.

Spot on. I thoroughly believe that this was just a tagline used to stir up interest in Burns v Rees, and Billy isn't ducking Crolla.

But you are right, it def makes sense for Derry to get it in writing. If he wins the fight, the goalposts shouldn't be moved. Derry deserves better

His first few defenses werent even against world level opponents IMO his most credible defenses have been against Gonzales who was beating him and Beltran who did beat him,

I would like to see Derry fight Mitchell but only if its the fight that makes the most sense financially and carrer wise and deffo shouldnt this side of xmas Derry has had about 15 fights in the time Mitchells had 6 and has just been married let him enjoy a break and come back refreshed , if Mitchell wants it as much as he says then it shouldnt be an issue for him to wait for it!

Yes, you have to chuckle at Billy saying a guy who has only ever beaten domestic guys is not worthy of a title shot.... :D

For me Derry beats Mitchell. But no your right I don't want to see either in with Burns yet. I suggested winner moves on to world level meaning fighting someone in top 10-15 in rankings to see where they are at.

I'd say the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

Dying for an opportunity it seems and he should have a good 2014.

Beats Crolla and Derry IMO and no disrespect to either fighter with that as I like them both.

Well i wouldn't write off Goodwins, they dug deep to get Ali Adams in with big Aud, so i think they could get the figth .

Its a fight i think could be equally as good as you v mitchell mate... fair enough mitchell is more known than commey, but could be good in my opnion.

also mate, congrats on your recent wedding mate ! :TU:

Sky won't mention terry because according to his manager Steve Wood matchroom turned him down already as an opponent for crolla and Mitchell
