Area title or WBU intercontinental belt what's better
Area title or WBU intercontinental belt what's better
i don't even know if there is a WBU intercontinental belt but i guess there is .
so what would you rather watch or own yourself , to watch you can't beat a good area title fights with 2 equal fighters giving it there all normaly the fighters are top10 in the country but not every likey to fight for higher titles but some do .to own i guess any alphabet belt sounds good but it don't mean a lot in real terms .
i'd rather watch a good southern area fight than watch a fight for a belt that means nothing to me .

Depends who was fighting for them.
I'd take the area title as I'm sure history will dictate that there have far more distinguished and notable fighters having been it's champion.

WBU would get you a better chance at the 'World Title'

Thing about intercontinental titles, they do a job for a promotor who is looking to get there fighter ranked.
If they are used right, you could use it (via few defences) to build and educate a figther, esp over the championship distances ...
i know a lot of folk wone agree with me but if used corretly then they have there benefite

Area title all the way.
WBU is not a body recognised by the BBBofC. And isn't there two WBU companies now (one American and one German)? As far as I know, neither are the original WBU that Hatton etc boxed for.
