Re: Anthony Joshua
I've never liked big shows for boxers turning over. A fighter like Joshua should be fighting regularly and learning the difference between amateur and professional boxing before he's on big shows like this, the public will just get bored watching what will be essentially training exercsises for the next 18 months. Hopefully he'll fight at least ten/fifteen times in that 18 months, and then you should start talking about British titles, European titles or whatever.

Yeah because you can lose count trying to tally up gypsy warriors who become world champions...Deno1986 wrote:Tyson has delivered his assessment of Joshu's debut:

I think @anthonyfjoshua ,s first fight was poo! He was very stif! Had no combos! Very amateur look about him! Not a gypsy warrior!!!
Won't be long before the Fury's are eyeing Joshua up. That's the reason for Tyson's outburst. It makes no sense otherwise.
I like Hughie, I think he could go further than Tyson. I think Joshua could go further than both Fury's.
Re: Anthony Joshua
I don't know who that was, but he'll never make it. No power, went postal on Al Malcolm and couldn't knock him out in the first, no defence, a journeyman was landing on him at will. Wasting his time in the pro ring.black panther wrote:Lennox Lewis pro debut:

Also, here, "he's total shit" is a synonym for "He may not make it to be an all time great". Some of my favourite fighters never made it past European level, but they weren't shit.
