I second that. Hector "Macho" Camacho in the 80s was an unbelievable talent. Could have been an all-time great if took the sport seriously. Probably would have been Puerto Rico's greatest boxer of all-time. After his fight with Edwin "Chapo" Rosario, he went downhill.

He was lucky to have caught Howard Davis Jr. on the downslide. IF he fought him around 1982-1983, that may have been a loss.

Had the skills but didn't have the stones to be a great fighter.
All these guys, with the exception of Casamayor, would have pressed him and forced Camacho to fight a survival fight.
He probably would have survived---he did have a tough chin--but he would have lost wide decisions to them.

Macho was quicker and slicker than the Cuban and would have won an uneventful decision. Casamayor didn't have the kind of aggressiveness and power that would have troubled Camacho.
