Cleo Shans was a pseudonym for Sterling Hobbs. He is still alive and kicking. (a spritely 86 years old) He lives in Brookhaven, PA.
He talks about his fights as if it happened yesterday! He especially remembers the fight with Ike Williams (02-14-1946) he says Ike "knocked me out" in the tenth round! He is a very special guy. I can listen to him talk about his past life for hours, he is truely an incredible dude!
