Kell Brook vs Viacheslav Senchenko

Post by bigB »

Who wins and via what method?

Love for Kell to walk straight through him with a mid - late stoppage but I think this will be a points victory. :bag:

Then hopefully onto IBF mandatory early 2014 against Alexander or a huge match up against a bigger named opponent (Broner, Bradley, Maidana, Rios, Alvarado, Mallignaggi, Guerrero, Ortiz, Berto, Judah etc)

Those are the types of fights I want to see.

If he was to lose :( then Frankie Gavin or a Van Heerden I think would be a good fight as he is just behind in terms of levels and that would be a big comeback clash.

On a serious note if Kell can smash Senchenko it would be impressive hope he does it because he really needs to make a big statement now.

I picked a draw - Senchenko got stopped on an injury, he looked tough enough v Hatton and though Kell hit Jones very hard in the rematch I'm not sold yet. Senchenko holds his nerve and will prepare hard, I think it'll be a hard fight.

Senchenko was being beaten by a shadow of Ricky Hatton, so I'm going with Brook on points.

Brook wins this comfy on points for me

Senchenkos ok and tough but he got beat up by feather fisted Malignaggi and was getting bullied by a shot Hatton until Ricky ran out of steam,so on paper he,s a decent name and test but realistically if Kell cant do a job on him then i,ll maybe have to re-evaluate my perception of Brook

Quick change of mind

Brook TKO

Think thats a bit unfair senchenko is a decent step up for him, senchenko is really the gate keeper to the world class opponents if he wins in style it poves he is worthy of the big leagues. This is not a bad fight for brook its the 20 odd other waste of space fights he has had that annoy me.

I would not say 20 odd wasted fights - first few learning the pro game then 17th - 20th British Title then had the WBO intercontinental up to 23rd fight where he moved to Matchroom and has fought 6 fights under them. I think in those 6 fights he has had opposition stepped up.

Yeah alright. The guy has had 30 pro fights and been a pro for 9 years and still hasnt fought anyone of note. It's a joke.

I must have watched a different Hatton v Senchenko fight; I reckon Brook is in with by far his best opponent.

Definitely, but that's not saying much.
