Id imagine fighting for the WBO European belt and winning it would boost Derry's ranking with the WBO bringing him a small step closer to Burns and giving him a title he can defend on allegedly rather than fight Commey for the Commonwealth and warren risk losing the fight on purse bids

Warren isn't going to lose purse bids to the Goodwin's, he rarely loses any and if he does it's to Hearn or a major promoter overseas. Hennessey outbid him for Fury-Chisora, but he had the channel 5 TV deal.

you may be right about warren rarely loosing purse bids but either way the WBO European belt is an easier belt to pick and choose your opponents to defend against than the Commonwealth is and I expect that now Derry is with Queensburry he will IMO win the WBO European vacate the Commonwealth
