And for the record Im not aiming my comment entirely at you mickey - and Carl Froch has got off lightly on this thread.

But when i look around the other threads, its horrendous.

Joshua = shite
McDonnell = Hang him
Hobson = appalling effort
Stalker = useless
Cardle = utterly shite
Hearn = drag him out into street and hang him
FW = all of the above.

There is nothing positive anymore across the boards. Just troll fests.

What pissed me off most about Froch was berating Groves and Cleverly for helping Kessler prepare for his fight with Carl coz your meant to support boxers from your own country,YET Froch said on live TV that the bodyshot Kessler felled Magee with was advised to Mikkel from Carl

Hypocrisy of the highest order if you ask me

I still love Carl Froch the fighter though

He just seems very bitter sometimes though,dont know why,he should be very happy with his stellar career seeing as most of his big fights came off

That video is funny; Froch is an excellent fighter and is having a brilliant career, he has a very pretty girlfriend and can't dance and is not an international superstar, most of the time he talks sense but sometimes he comes across as arrogant and prickly- Groves seems 'the nicer man' and I hope he wins.

froch has always had a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and has always took himself a bit too seriously...but he's hardly a whiner when you compare him to modern footballers. i agree with jamesmcdonnell in that youve gotta give him a bit of leeway. its not like he's made boasts that he couldnt back up. hes been at or near the top for years, always puts in the work, never been stopped, doesnt get involved in controversies. if it wasnt for the fact that he fights at the same time as future ATG andre ward, we 'd be lauding him as the british hagler. froch is ok. he deserves a pass.

it's a well put together video, no mistake. A bit sad, (who would go to those lengths?) but good. Especially where he drops that poor girl on her head after saying he did Patrick Swayze proud.
It's easy to pull people's bad bits together too - but tbf it looks like Froch has said a lot of horrible stuff so he shouldn't have put so much bile out there.

Agree about Groves tho. I'd like to see him do it, as the underdog, and I don't think it's beyond him either. He's pretty savvy. I remember when he was promo-ing his fight with James Degale, sitting in his smart clothes, and tracksuited Degale started laughing at what he had on - and then, horror of horrors, a bloated 60 odd yr old Fwank started taking the mickey out of him as well

(wtf??).............but, we all know what happened next. George Groves is alright in my book

Froch makes up in fighting what he lacks in PR skills. If he had the PR skills he would be bigger than Hatton.

The International Superstar comment is daft. If he loses his next fight he won't be able to show his face in Nottingham Main Street never mind around the World.

He has provided British Boxing with a lot of good nights, and he has to sell the fight with Groves as some kind of grudge and Groves is not on his level just yet.

People will moan about Carl because they are British and that's what the British are best at, moaning at others having the courage and determination to make something of their lives while wallowing in a life of laziness. Seriously we'll have some young sportsman come along and people will get behind him, then when he becomes successful and fucks off to Switzerland or Monaco to avoid paying 80% income tax(something we'd all do given the chance) then they all get on his back.

I moan about Carl because I don't like his personality. I loved Hatton(before he got repetitive) and he was a much bigger star.

I like to watch Froch fight because he is very good at it; I don't like to see him do anything else because I don't find him interesting enough, when he hypes a bout up I feel a bit sorry for him though I'll be buying the next one; if he wasn't boxing Groves I'd want him to win.
