On Tuesday, October 8, in Thailand, WBC Asian Boxing Council bantamweight champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (AKA Suriyan Por Chokchai; 30-5-1, 12 KOs) won a non-title, six round bout by unanimous decision against an opponent not yet identified.
The 24-year-old Suriyan's "stay active" win took place on the undercard of younger brother Nawaphon Sor Rungvisai's successful defense of the WBC Asian Boxing Council flyweight title. Nawaphon (AKA Nawapon Por Chokchai), 22, improved to 17-0 with 12 wins by knockout by halting his yet-to-be identified challenger in the third round.
