Why isn't his ring name listed on his bio page? I could swear it used to be, and it's very much his official ring name.

I know he went by "King" Solomon against Hopkins, but he was known as Busy Bee in most of his mentions in the media and during televised intro graphics for years.
Also, why isn't he listed as favorite versus Kenny Abril on the upcoming HBO PPV card?

The favorite is generally listed on the left, correct? I am baffled as to how that could be Abril in this case. I mean, Kenny is a little better than his record suggests but it would be a stretch to suggest he'll be the first to defeat Solomon and if a betting line comes out it will probably substantiate that Solomon is a big favorite...

Usually the fighters are listed as the promoter or matchmaker sends then in. So in this case Top Rank's fighters are listed on the left but doesn't mean they are favorite.

Ah, thanks. I had always wondered about that.ABC BOXING wrote:Usually the fighters are listed as the promoter or matchmaker sends then in. So in this case Top Rank's fighters are listed on the left but doesn't mean they are favorite.
As for his ring name, did his management specifically request it be taken down? It's odd that it was just removed. If they wanted to replace it with "King" to have Brad go by that from now on, I would figure it would have been changed instead of reverting to no ring name.

Normally, it's up to us editors to put the higher-ranked fighter on the left side...IntentionalButt wrote:Ah, thanks. I would love if boxrec made that universal the highest rated fighter on the left no matter how the promoter send it.claudevsq wrote:Normally, it's up to us editors to put the higher-ranked fighter on the left side...IntentionalButt wrote:Ah, thanks.
