I was thinking the same myself the other day. There is quite a few boxers that seem to have gone awol at the moment.

Steve Wood posts on here, pretty certain he is Karls manager & will know the reason why he has been inactive.

Yeah Bulb head. Didn't he get stopped by Steve Williams once upon a time? Or maybe someone else, can't recall.

He did. What's happened to Williams? Another who's went off the radar.

shocked karl place has retired, touted as the next big thing had a setback and packed up? he was exciting to watch but seemed a bit of a bully in the ring, enjoyed dishing it out but struggled when they gave it back, still shame to see hes packed in, still only a young pup

a loss can do that to you, all your dreams of world domination comes crashing down, sometimes hard for a young fighter to get over, hope he has another go because he has talent

He is pretty young so I am sure that he will get the bug back after a while out of the ring.

I've been injured for my last 2 fights and now finally had an operation to sort one problem, just waiting on a date for another op. Will hopefully be back in the ring early next year
