Frank Maloney retires from boxing.
According to Daily Mail website Frank Maloney has decided to retire from boxing. I wish Frank all the best in the future.

Good luck Frank, enjoyed the Price bills at the echo arena. Interesting to see if matchroom or warren snap up Price.

Re: Frank Maloney retires from boxing.
I met Frank when I was reporting on one of Phil Jeffries shows for BoxRec. Frank chatted to me and answered my thousand and one questions.
You are a true gentleman and I wish you all the best for the future. Put your feet up and relax mate, you deserve it.

Nice bloke met him at a show in Huddersfield & stopped to say hello to him. 20 minutes later I went to sit in my seat. Nice bloke, pity he is a Millwall fan!

Thanks for the great fight and enjoy your retirement. 8)
Frank Maloney has retired....
Does this mean Price left him then? I know he said he was willing to carry on previously if Price wanted to.

Which shows that even people you don't agree with politically can still be really good company, funny and generous.Deadendgeneration wrote:pyenest77 wrote:Nice bloke met him at a show in Huddersfield & stopped to say hello to him. 20 minutes later I went to sit in my seat. I don't doubt that, and I'm sure on a 1 on 1 basis I could talk to him all night as long as politics doesn't come up.

all the best frank for a long and happy retirement
Re: Frank Maloney retires from boxing.
What ever happened with the winner of the compeition to work as an intern for Moloney in the build up to one of his shows - did it ever happen?
Re: Frank Maloney retires from boxing.
the guy who won it didnt want to do it, and in fairness i got an email from maloney promotions asking if i was still interested a month or two later but had just had a kid and started a new job so bottled saying yes. So he stuck his neck out to try and give people the opportunity to do it.johnswan1 wrote:What ever happened with the winner of the compeition to work as an intern for Moloney in the build up to one of his shows - did it ever happen?

He is technically a UKIP candidate, not politician. Whether Farage allows him to stand again will be of interest.
