1956

Top Heavyweights of 1956.

Toro Moreno

'Toro' Moreno of Argentina, a 27 year-old - 6' 8" 275 lb. 'muscleman' with size and strength,
but not good boxing skills. 'The Bull of Argentina', is a 'KO Specialist' with an 'Iron Jaw'
and 'Cast Iron Stomach'.

Undefeated, and with every win coming by 'knockout'. His KO's were not a result of
a sharp punch, but as a result of clubbing his opponents to the canvas with 'big-fists'
and massive arms.

Came to the United States after compiling a record of 38-0-0 {38 KO's} in South America.

Though some fights are unsubstantiated, as they took place in the Mountains of Argentina and
remote areas of South America.

While in the United States, Toro has scored '4' wins, all coming by way of 'knockout', to
bring his record to an unbelievable 42-0-0 {42 KO's}. Despite the mystery, 'Toro' has
moved up to the #1 Ranked Heavyweight.

Louis 'Mountain' Rivera

Louis Rivera of New York, a 32 year-old - 5' 11" 190 lb. veteran 'boxer-puncher' who learned
his trade battling it out in the 'small clubs' against other hopeful sluggers.

A durable fighter, who likes to wade in and slam away. By 1956, 'Mountain' had moved up
to the #7 Ranked Heavyweight with a record of 52-9-2 {31 KO's}, after scoring several
upsets in late-1955 and early-1956. 'Mountain' is on a '16-Bout' winning streak, and is
one-fight away from a possible Title bout.
Isn't he the character from The Harder They Fall? Based on 'Da Preem...'?

I got a '56 Chevy says Honey Roy Palmer can beat them both the same day.

And don't even get me started on what Charles Macum Diggs would do to these guys.
