Middleweights: Julian Jackson vs Felix "Tito" Trinidad

Post by elmersalsa »

What if the Hopkins vs Tito fight would have been with a prime Julian Jackson. Would Tito become undisputed world middleweight champ then in that faithful day of 29th of September of 2001?

Two chinny bangers both with devastating one punch power. Both with decent boxing skill, but neither was likely to be confused with a Master Boxer anytime soon. So I think this would just about come down to who was the bigger puncher of the two. To me, there's no doubt...it's the Hawk.

Tito could drop anybody with one punch, but it wasn't too many times he outright starched guys with one shot, he usually had to drop them a time or two or three before the fight was over.

Julian Jackson hit you with his Sunday punch and the next thing you know you got a doctor shining a light in your face asking you if you know where you are.

Surely an easy night for the better skilled and balanced fighter in Trinidad. Say he's chinny but he always got up apart from being worn down by Hopkins.
