Please.
Duran was a fighter.
Camacho was a performer.
12-0 or 15-0 in favor of Duran. Camacho just shows up for the payday as he did against Trinidad, Chavez and ODLH.

Before the Edwin "Chapo" Rosario fight, Hector "Macho" Camacho was a very gifted and complete fighter. I don't know what happened to him after the Rosario fight. He had a DECLINE that until this day I cannot believe what happened. Even though, still, at his very best, would not beat the great Roberto Duran at lightweight nor at welterweight.

cocaine, plus the Rosario fight really introduced him to the idea of his own mortality, which I'm not sure he had considered before.

I give him credit for the Rosario fight. he hung tough whilst Chapo beat the sh1t out of him.

It got to be cocaine or something, because he was something else. A near all-time great.

Another near all-time great in my mind was Riddick Bowe. What happened to him?

Many fighters did cocaine without it making them gun shy. Hector had an excellent chin, he just didn't like getting hit. Rosario showed his ceiling and he stuck there.

3 brutal fights with Holyfield is what happened to Bowe. Every fighter doesn't have a long prime. He won those battles, but lost that war.

Duran would stop Hector in 11 rounds, though Hector might own Roberto on the street.
