New Prizefighter Heavyweight
Has there been any word on it. Eddie Hearn said something would be announced this week
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
Also said Froch-Groves undercard would be this week along with a new signing. Puts too much pressure on himself, only leaves people dissaponted when he doesn't reveal anything

I look forward to hear Eddie's announcements but it's always very disappointing when he flakes and doesn't announce anything

Price wins that incredibly easily.Gordon KOs wrote:Prizefighter: All-Star UK heavyweights

Price should enter the next Prizefighter. It'll suit him just like it suited Harrison.smoothmoves wrote:Price wins that incredibly easily.

Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
I don't mind Prizefighter it builds fighters up and pushes them along for example from recent memory Foot, Ekundayo Gaynor, Jenkins and even Audley all did well and are going on to better things except Audley took a step too far he could have really built himself back up.
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
I'd pick Price to beat him over three rounds.leforge wrote:I heard wach is in it!
It would be a great way to get his career back on track. 3 solid wins and a nice little trophy.
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
Would he have stamina for it? U can't see him doing it!Horse wrote:I'd pick Price to beat him over three rounds.leforge wrote:I heard wach is in it!

Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
If he doesn't have the stamina for Prizefighter then his career is in even more trouble than I think it is.leforge wrote:Would he have stamina for it?
If Hearn sets it up for him then I don't see why he wouldn't.leforge wrote:U can't see him doing it!

Took a step too far?! Well he couldnt just win prizefighter forever and be taken seriously.WelshJack wrote:I don't mind Prizefighter it builds fighters up and pushes them along for example from recent memory Foot, Ekundayo Gaynor, Jenkins and even Audley all did well and are going on to better things except Audley took a step too far he could have really built himself back up.

I don't disagree with you, I think it would suit Price too. If he were to enter a prizefighter, I would prefer to see a more competitive field than the one mentioned above.Horse wrote:Price should enter the next Prizefighter. He jumped in with top heavyweights.columbo wrote:Took a step too far?! Every fighter would jump on him not best way for his new plan back.Horse wrote:If he doesn't have the stamina for Prizefighter then his career is in even more trouble than I think it is.leforge wrote:Would he have stamina for it?

There is an "off" button, you know ?expe wrote:For fucks sake, not another prizefighter.
Personally I'm really looking forward to it
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
I liek prizefighter especially for heavyweights presumably it will bhe a mediocre mix though Skelton,Rogan and Sexton are my favourites for inclusion.
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
Can add Rocky Fielding to that list as well, maybe Terry Flannigan although he could really do with some TV exposureWelshJack wrote:I don't mind Prizefighter it builds fighters up and pushes them along for example from recent memory Foot, Ekundayo Gaynor, Jenkins and even Audley all did well and are going on to better things except Audley took a step too far he could have really built himself back up.
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
There's 20 shows a year on sky, each prizefighter takes away from the amount of live boxing there is available.JimJim2009 wrote:There is an "off" button, you know ?expe wrote:For fucks sake, not another prizefighter.

Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
No it doesn't - each prize fighter gives 7 or 8 fights in one three hour show, and it usually makes for good viewing.expe wrote:There's 20 shows a year on sky, each prizefighter takes away from the amount of live boxing there is available.JimJim2009 wrote:There is an "off" button, you know ?expe wrote:For fucks sake, not another prizefighter.

Reducing the annual quota of 20 live boxing shows down to 19 and filling the gap with a (for example) rugby game - that's what would take away from the amount of live boxing that's available.
These shows usually sell out and deliver good ratings for Sky. I love the prizefighters, fair enough not everybody does but that's life.
Re: New Prizefighter Heavyweight
Slipped my mind exactly it's great for the fighters whatever your opinion on it.Paullow wrote:Can add Rocky Fielding to that list as well, maybe Terry Flannigan although he could really do with some TV exposureWelshJack wrote:I don't mind Prizefighter it builds fighters up and pushes them along for example from recent memory Foot, Ekundayo Gaynor, Jenkins and even Audley all did well and are going on to better things except Audley took a step too far he could have really built himself back up.
