warrington v samir 2nd nov

Post by maley1984 »

Josh v samir for wat I believe is the commonwealth title on the hull show both unbeaten. Josh current english champ 15-0 samir also unbeaten and hoids a win over lee selby tho he turned down a mandatory shot earlier this year at the british title and a rematch with selby. Good fight this who wins and why.

I'm going with Samir, Warrington although a neat boxer just does not have a punch and I think Samir's strength will overpower him.

Surprised how one sided the vote is. Josh is a real talent and super fit ( samir best b in condition for 12 hard rounds). If josh has a weakness cud b to the body where he was hurt against chris but came back strong and fired back (he also showed a good chin shipping some big punches). Imo josh wins close points maybe to fast and slick for samir also facting in that josh has done 10 rounders 3 times not sure samir has gone past 8 I cud b wrong tho

He did and IIRC, a few people said on here that Savage should have got the nod.

From what I hear Dave Savage Jnr should of got the nod. In fairness though he is a very very good boxer and would tip him to beat Samir in a rematch. I think Samir takes this one wide points

Good fight. Seen nothing of Samir & Josh is relentless although sadly for him doesn't have much of a punch.

Good fight, no one punch power punch from josh but he throws so many shots that are all firm and gain your respect.
Samir won't just walk through them shots just me. Josh just has to be careful of the counters. Samir has power and is sharp and strong.
