Curtis Woodhouse v Paul Mcclosksey(Twitter beef)

Post by daviddee »

Curtis saying that Paul is a Prick and he would like to smack him one. Curtis is one of my favourite fighters love his attitude and the fact he is up for some banter on Twitter some people take everything far too serious. Can only see this fight going one way unfortunately but it will be fun all the same.. Will the troll hunter need to hunt himself? Who wins this one?

He's not good enough to earn a shot against McCloskey so he's going down the trash talk route. Keyboard gob shite for pay.

I like Curtis and he uses the internet to his advantage massively I know he got the stefy bull fight and Frankie gavin fight by giving it some banter on this site unfortuney I don't think he will win a top domestic title (British, commonwealth ) but if he as still got the belief he can do it fair play to him I personally hope he achieves his dream :TU:

McCloskey would have to do more than just posture to win the fight i know that much. Would expect him to win but what exactly has he done since the first bell of the Amir fight?

in 6 years of being a professional fighter I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say ive never REALLY disliked anybody I have fought, ive given out my fair share of trash talk and received it as well but I understand that really deep down we as fighters have the ultimate respect for each other, its a tough way to feed your family, but mccloskey is a jumped up little prick and I don't like him one bit, I cant be bothered to go into reasons why and if im perfectly honest he hasn't done anything apart from talk bad about me which 9/10 times goes over my head but this guy really annoys me, I agreed to fight him in what was a warm up fight for him on the last bill in hull but he didn't go through with it basically saying I wasn't worth it and he had bigger fish to fry which if it was true id have totally understood but he hasn't boxed in about 18 months so whatever the master plan is its taking its time, I know hes better than me, that's not my argument, hes been british and euro champ, something that's a million miles from anything ive achieved but I want to fight him, I thought boxing was a place to have a fight without getting nicked for it, winning or losing or the pay day do not interest me one little bit, I just want to have it out with him in a way I wont get locked up, if anybody can think of a better way for me to punch him in the mouth and not get 18 months im all ears but the best way imo is to go to Belfast put on the 8oz gloves and have it with him, he needs a comeback fight, I want to punch him in the mouth, shouldn't be hard to make it happen

Love to see this fight! Be a good one, Paul hasn't fought in a while changed trainers and promoters in the time since the Chop Chop fight.

He needs to become more active.

Met Paul and his Dad in Vilamoura, Portugal last year, was very down to earth and a genuinely nice guy, me and my brother had a good chat with him, I thought he was unlucky against Khan and put up a good fight, I personally would not say he is prick but obv don't know whats gone on, I would take him to beat Curtis by KO.

I have great respect for what Curtis has done but Paul is a quite a few classes above in my opinion.

Have you seen the Khan fight or are you going on what Paul told you? He never, by any description, "put up a good fight"!

Yeah I obviously saw the fight, I think with a few adjustments he could have given Khan a tougher fight, I do not think by any means he got schooled but going by many of Pauls fights I think he is definitely a step too far for Curtis and I do not think this fight should happen just because of a bit of "beef" on Twitter, I personally think it would just be a warm up fight for Paul if it did happen and I do not think Curtis warrants the shot at the moment, I think he should take a few English Title level fights and build himself back up, get a few more wins on his record and then have a shot at another Euro/British Level Fighter.
