Off topic - yahoo email

Post by dondada »

Anyone else use web-based email? The last two days, yahoo has been, as my pal James McDonnell would say "as slow as shit through a funnel".

This is a sod as my work related mails come through a yahoo.co.uk address.

Anyone else experienced this? I suppose there's nowt I can do?

Aye, go on Chris.

I've been with Yahoo ever since I started using email regularly, about six years ago and it's been good as gold. Everything else is OK apart from that site.

that reminded me of a job i did once.
And the woman in charge was Horrible , just a really stuck up cow with an overbearing attitude to everybody, on the last day of the job the guy i was working with got alot of stick off her , and came out with this as a response.
" What you need is a smack in the mouth with a stocking full of wet shit "

we all pissed ourselves laughing
was worth getting the sack seeing the look on her face .

Yahoo in general, not only its email, has been slow for the past few days. Yahoo is testing some beta software. The problem may be due in part that testing.

Hotmail is ok, a bit slow like. I've got a gmail account, but the thought of transferring 300 contacts over to gmail is putting me off using it.

I believe that Gmail has a facility to transfer your contacts quite painlessly. Log in to your Gmail account and there should be some help-text somewhere about it.
