I am glad i had time to read over this!!! To clarify why the board are too blame?! My opponent pulled out 37 hours before the fight! My manager asked to bring over another fighter from abroad but because the paperwork had to be filled out 40 hours before they refused to let them bring over opponent! :( Fair enough my manager got someone from England at 10:00pm the night before the fight then on the day of the fight that opponent pulled out! I blame the board for the first part!?!

Now for the problems with Billy 'Big Mouth' Nelson... Please do not mention Ricky when arguing with Billy, Ricky is genuinely a great person in and out the ring... I know its only for a reaction but Ricky don't deserve it!

Lets now go back on topic for what the thread is actually made about!!!

you will find that the 48 hour rule is so that the board can do all the checks on the boxer you can never bend the rules for anybody in case the medicals dont arrive in time etc so you need to take it up with your manager before you blame the board

I'll say one thing about Ronnie Clark , he's about the quickest boxer I've seen in the flesh, and although he's not a top level puncher, he'd give anyone in Britain a fight at the weight. He'd be murder to fight, you'd need to rush him for every second of every round until you started to land cleanly and hope you could either stop him or that he wasn't too far ahead by the time you caught up. He definitely needs to step up NOW or he'll go stale. I think he needs the challenge .

Is Ronnie still on this show? If so, he'll not be fighting anyone of any note I'd imagine.

Any word of a card yet?

Heard that Meikle was very unlucky not to get the win. Ball dropped Gary in the 3rd or 4th. Apparently gary was struggling after that. Maybe get Brophy in with Mccallum Billy for his first 10 rounder for Scottish.

There's no chance Gilmour would take that fight,Brophys looking sharp in the gym for Dec then hopefully a title shot of some discription on Ricky's undercard.
Suprised Drummond drew the boys in Dundee thought a lot of him

McCallum will need to take risks after this loss although I did say that it weas a 50-50 fight as ball is under rated. Also im shocked regarding Davie to be honest but knew that Meikle can take a shot. think whats gonna get Davie is his inactivity. not enough fights so is always rusty, He also needs to take risks i think. too old to be built up has a good amateur expeirience lets see him in with people who wanna win:)

But if he can't beat people who are there to lose how will he beat people who are there to win? :witzend:

From what I hear Meikle struggle with Davie's shots. I think Jamie might be right that Davie needs to be more active. Meikle not really a light heavy and his movement may have caused Davie some problems. I think Davie is better in with the big guys!! After his demolition of Moses Matovu I was actually really worried for Meikle getting through a round. It's a funny game boxing

No idea of him. Just what I have been told. Hard to get an opponent I think especially as lots have fights coming up. Not really many options.

I have saw the guy box twice. He's a little handful when he wants to be. All his losses look close on scorecard apart from maxi Highes fight. Am sure if Clark boxes the way he can he should take it. Not a walk over right enuff. Least he has a fight this time.
