Katsuaki Eguchi and Kusuo Eguchi of Japan.

Not only were these brothers both pro fighters, they had a pro bout against each other for the Japan title in their division on 6-5-93. One brother KO'd the other in the 6th round.

I'm fortunate to have this bout in my collection.

Fritzie Zivic had a dozen or so brothers who boxed. Jeez..just think of all those thumbs in all those eyes.

Aha..I see a third Quarry brother does exist. I asked about him in the heavyweight thread.

I followed Tommy and Dick Smothers into the Purple Onion ins San Francisco and got to know Tommy. I think you're wrong ,Tomato Can...I'm sure they were and still are a comedy folk singing duo.

there was a heavyweight in the late 40s named Elkins Brothers, but he was just one person.

Any record of Siamese Twins as boxers?

Gayus Outhouse?
Wish I knew! If so, we have another pair of heavyweight twin brothers.
If they were heavies?
Brother Gale must have ended nr. 2, runner up in the Tony Galento Look Alike - competition?

I posted the Outhouse name in the "funny names" thread. Gayus Outhouse and Gale Outhouse were both welterweights from Sioux City, Iowa. the only information I have them is three fights in 1949, Both fought on the same card 11/10/49, 11/16/49 and 12/7/49. Gale won the first KO1, next two WD4. Gayus lost the first KOby3,and the next two WKO1 and WKO3. Gayus' kOby3 loss was to George Price. that name sounds familiar. He may have become a contender or a decent journeyman fighter, but I'm by no means certain.

I wonder if they had any children. I mean ......"I come from a long liklne of Outhouses" makes anice mental image, doesn't it?

muray..thanks for the Lamotta post. I thought he had brother who fought, but wasn't sure enough to enter his name, which I forgot anyway. I have no idea what his weight was or when he fought or how good he was. Anybody care to add some details?
