Re: Brook card RBR
Yeah it seems he is one of these opponents who's been researched and has a decent record and who maybe has taken a few known guys the distance or a few rounds despite being toilet.Groove Armada wrote:Acosta doesn't look a test.

Get ready for etches. He will put himself firmly in your mind tonight
Re: Brook card RBR
I'm looking forward to seeing Etches box; hope he grabs the chance and makes some waves.DMA1987 wrote:Get ready for etches. He will put himself firmly in your mind tonight

Have I missed anything interesting?

Not with the boxing but in the real world lefty thinks if Brook loses he should retire.Horse wrote:Have I missed anything interesting?

Lefty is a part of the real world?palooka wrote:Not with the boxing but in the real world lefty thinks if Brook loses he should retire.
Re: Brook card RBR
Acosta was bloody tough. Smith shown himself to be a quality operator though. Nice bit of class with Paul checking on Acosta rather than celebrating like everyone else.
Re: Brook card RBR
I could say that with you.Horse wrote:Lefty is a part of the real world?palooka wrote:Not with the boxing but in the real world lefty thinks if Brook loses he should retire.

(I did leave myself open for you on the RAF thread but you didn't go for it)

The real world stinks, I want no part of it.columbo wrote:I could say that with you.
Re: Brook card RBR
Impressed with Smith. On par with Mundine and Stieglitz and only his 9th fight
Re: Brook card RBR
A lot of other good prospects havent stopped Acosta either.DMA1987 wrote:Impressed with Smith. On par with Mundine and Stieglitz and only his 9th fight

The guy is a giant for super middle aswell. I wouldnt fancy fighting him to be honest! Even if I was the likes of Groves,etc.DMA1987 wrote:columbo wrote:A lot of other good prospects havent stopped Acosta either.DMA1987 wrote:Impressed with Smith. Re: Brook card RBR
Another Joke stoppage there.
Re: Brook card RBR
Guys, not watching it over here, so would someone be kind enough to give me a bit more detail on the Smith fight - I can decipher he won by stoppage, but not sure what round, how he finished it and how he looked up to that point? Help a brother out
Re: Brook card RBR
Easily the best early stoppage protest I've ever seen. The ref looked like he wanted to disappear.
