Two good fights coming up in Auckland
Re: Two good fights coming up in Auckland
Berridge is not as smart as I thought he was if he has signed a 6 year deal. That's is basically putting his whole career in the hands one company.

Really? I think it's a good career move. He's limited but has great punch power, I think there'll be able to move him along alot and there'll certainly get him plenty of fights at home against good opposition (hopefully a few aussies might travel to NZ) and he'll get plenty of exposure. Win/win
Re: Two good fights coming up in Auckland
That's what people thought when they signed with DKP. Fact of the matter is 6 years is too long to sign with any promoter. A boxing career is short, and leaving 6 years of it up to someone is crazy.
If he thinks they would do well for his career he should have signed a 3 years deal with an option for another 3 if the promoter hits certain income and fights targets.

Tickets are 15 bucks G.A for Joseph Parker's NZ Heavyweight title challenge against King Afa Tatupu.
Wish I was back for it now. :(
