Kell Brook
Kell Brook
The 2 current threads are not worthy of comment.IMO
Kell last night was under MASSIVE pressure.
He HAD to put on a good performance Senchenko was by no means a great opponent but was decent enough.
He had power to hurt Brook which we saw, so was dangerous and doing a number on him was what was needed and going into a fight knowing just winning isn't enough when you have had a shit year must have been stressful.
Kell dealt with it and produced a good performance.
He took a full on shot to the temple soaked it up got out of trouble and finished the fight.
If he does get to fight Khan and connects with a shot like the one that finished Senchenko its goodnight.
It was an exciting 3rd and 4th round Kell took to many shots last night he had too as he needed to get his off.
He will need to be more elusive however.
A calmer back on track Brook against a top quality opponent will be a fight no boxing fan should miss regardless of your opinion of him.
Would be nice if an undefeated British fighter with genuine potential in the best division in boxing could catch a break.

Just to be clear I don't expect any comments just thought i'd address the balance.

Re: Kell Brook
I think Khan will give brook a boxing lesson , only chance brook has against Amir is a punchers one
Re: Kell Brook
True, but the smart money would still have to be on Khan, he'd be a heavy favourite in my book, probably by stoppage in the middle rounds.

I think you don't know what your talking about. You rate Fury.mrpedigree wrote:I think Khan will give brook a boxing lesson , only chance brook has against Amir is a punchers one
Why does Khan get capital letters on his surname and first name yet Brook doesn't on either.
PREJUDICE THAT MATE AND YOU HATE THAT DONT YOU.

Re: Kell Brook
Kell needs plenty of time and space, I doubt khan will give him that

Re: Kell Brook
Amir would probably box his ears off En Route to getting stopped. Khan can't be trusted over 12 rounds.
Re: Kell Brook
No point debating it no way Khan wants or needs the fight at the moment.
Re: Kell Brook
I am shocked mickey1975 that is pure sense.mickey1975 wrote:Amir would probably box his ears off En Route to getting stopped. Khan can't be trusted over 12 rounds.
I agree that is highly probable.
Re: Kell Brook
Good point; Kell is getting set for a title challenge; Khan is getting set to pay off after a good few years of being at title level. No matter how highly you view Kell and how far he may go you have to recognise that Amir has done an awful lot already and is just about set to retire a multimillionaire younger than Brook. That isn't a knock on Brook and is the case.TJ77 wrote:No point debating it no way Khan wants or needs the fight at the moment.

Thought it was Mencap Mickey? Probably right, though you could put anything so long as it ends Brook stops him.columbo wrote:They dont call him Mensa Mickey for nothing.ALI wrote:Genius, quality analysis :-)mickey1975 wrote:Amir would probably box his ears off En Route to getting stopped.

Re: Kell Brook
Just seeing it the way i see it , am i the only that has seen "brook " can be hurt ? he gets banged on the nose, eyes starts watering and looks in trouble in every fight .TJ77 wrote:I think you don't know what your talking about. Amir is fragile to we all know that , but i think that a Khan v brook would competitive fight and no way a push over for brook , like i said favour Khan me
Re: Kell Brook
Khan would dominate early on although if Brook hits him with any of those punches last night Khan will be out cold, seriously out.mrpedigree wrote:I think Khan will give brook a boxing lesson , only chance brook has against Amir is a punchers one
Re: Kell Brook
It'd be a good fight and Khan has stood strong against good punches before; he's been wiped pout for sure but it's not a straightforward thing at all.
Re: Kell Brook
Agreed its not straight forward and the fact that Kell can be hurt as Pedigree has said makes it a must see.palooka wrote:It'd be a good fight and Khan has stood strong against good punches before; he's been wiped pout for sure but it's not a straightforward thing at all.
I think Kell would weather any storm Khan could muster I don't think Amir could hold one of Kell's shot flush.

Re: Kell Brook
Brook's nose seems vulnerable to me. Seems to go red and bleed quite easily. I agree he is an exciting prospect (still) , his night fight should be big or fans will loose patience
Re: Kell Brook
why not look at the record of etches opponent last night before we blow smoke up adams ar5e.
in the programme it looked like a 50/50 fight between two gunslinging outlaws, in reality, and after looking at the opponents record closely, it was a 90/10 fight for etches.
Good matchmaking sums it up. But i will state i like adam etches, he does however, usually take too many punches.

Re: Kell Brook
I'd still just take Khan over Brook at the moment. Kell performed well, his jab wobbled Shen a few times and there is no doubt he carries power but I think Khan would be to quick and fit. Shenchnko broke through and he isn't the quickest so there is no doubt Amir would get to him. It would just be a question if Khan could avoid the the big punches or make Kell wary enough not to commit too much. Would be a great fight IMO.
