Rome gig not much better than the Hatton PPV

Post by JimmyJamJerusalem »

Looks like Warren is looking to target his latest show at people who know fornicate all about boxing.
Two of Wales' hardest hitting boxers; Lockett, and Maccarinelli matched against a pair of relative no hopers; Victor Kpadenue, and Marco Heinichen respectivly. :o
Warren is just looking for blood curdling KO's to dupe the general public, and it stinks!!
Nice for the guys heading out to Rome, nice easy run outs, that will pad thier records, but what good does that do anybody??

Hopefully it will drum up publicity for Gary I suppose, he is still hoping to face Rhodes in Febuary. I'm not sure of Maccarinelli's plans at the mo, but he seems to have been left on the shelf.
SN need to sort themselves out!!!!!

Do Macarinelli and Lockett have their careers managed by Minardi then?

Yes no doubt SN approve or even suggest these opponents. Enzo's fight is a complete joke for a supposed world class boxer - has KO1 written all over it and looks a dangerous mismatch.

At least Lockett's opponent looks a little better - but he's still only had 8 fights total.

Locketts fight doesn't look too bad. Should give him a chance to get a few rounds in and some international experience and maybe look to step him up on the future Enzo Vs Nelson undercard (as long as Canatore doesn't win  ) or Calzaghe Vs Lacy undercard (if it happens  ).

Enzo fight is shite. Maybe Real Deal should giveaway a DVD to the person who guesses which second of round one Enzo will win in. :box:

My guess 2m 04seconds :TU:

Agreed!

What is the point of Enzo fighting this clown (I even think he is worse than bum status!) Is Nelson picking his opponents for him or what!?

Can I politely ask you a question? What DOES Allegedly's dick actually taste of?

I'm sure the board have been wondering about this, and you are most likely to know the answer....

fornicate you! Ignorant fornicating dog, I've defended you a few times on here, but I'll be fucked if I will again.

SN are responsible for the opponents, in that Warren wants easy fights for his boys to put on ITV to dupe the public. Point stands, you smarmy, rude prick! There was no need to be giving me shit like that!

C'mon it's just a jibe. And boxing chat does not offer any objective views, every post is in some way pro-allegedly.

Me too, if SN could'nt be arsed to match his £150k asking purse before, why are they going to do it now?! Maybe Warren and the Enzo camp don't really want the Nelson fight? They want Nelson to retire and vacate so Enzo can fight another bum for the belt...... Just a thought!

I thought Nelson was finished after the Jones fight, but he has had two decent wins since he adopted his one fight a year strategy. Three years on though he must just be holding out for the Enzo payday.

Enzo hasn't fought any real opponents he just KOs bums I don't think he has any real class and if Warren ever puts him in with a good opponent he will sink

P.s. play nice lets keep it to boxing comments and not personalities, if boxing chat is wrong just say why.

Yeah apolagies for that, he just gets under my skin sometimes, always insults people when he disagrees, unnecassary!

Not really fair to say Enzo just bangs out bums. His win over Bruce Scott showed alot of heart, and clinical finishing. And Scott is certainly no bum!!

I still think all SN boys are being fed ko's to satisfy an un-knowledgeable public on this Rome gig. Cant see either Lockett, or Maccarinelli's fights going past 2 rounds. I know Locketts opponent has never been stopped, but neither had Mehidi, Osman, Kevin Kelly, or Alan Gray. This guy just doesn't look in the same league, and won't handle Locketts mad power!

Both boxers could and should be fighting a better class of opponent, but on the other hand the payday for Enzo and lockett may not be huge so why risk putting them in with dangerous opponents.

As for Warren, i think that he knows that he has to put on better shows and ditch the WBU, WBF titles.
I'm as critical of Warren as most, but he has put on some good fights in the last year, I enjoyed the Fight School program when it was on SKY, you had some great scraps on there for the english title.
