Haymer vs Fry

Post by stujones »

Good fight this for Haymer's English title, could we be seeing a new champion? Haymer has dissapointed in his last couple of outings, but Fry hasn't progressed maybe as most expected and is inexperienced, interesting tussle this one.

Im siding with Haymer on this one. I thought that Fry could make it big when he turned over (after an excellent amateur career) , but he has dissapointed me.

Fry has a bit of power , but you need more than that to beat Haymer - Haymer beat Spartacus abeit controversially. Who has Fry beaten???

Tom Podmore.

I'm probably going to go and see this card tomorrow. I'm disappointed to see Fry lost a 4 rounder last time out though, what happened there?

Haymer for me, Fry has been a bit of a let-down after his amateur career.

What happened to this one? Was it cancelled at the last minute?

I'm still a bit non plussed about what happened here. I went down there expecting to see Haymer v Odin in the 8 round main event but quite late on in the evening the mc happened to mention that it wasn't happening because Haymer was injured, followed by Val taking the mic and making an announcement of his own. Also I'm sure the program showed Fry v Odin.

When was Haymer officially off the show? I tried to ask Odin afterwards but he only wanted to talk about Haymer running scared etc.

Anyway the other fights were decent.

BBN spoke to Derek Williams on Thursday and he said Haymer had pulled out with a hand injury they were hoping that Fry would fight Odin but it didn't happen.
