Is the Leeds Arena not a bit big for a fight like this ? It's also got a 'fan shaped' seating arrangement. Strange choice of venue if true.

It is 'fan shaped' which is shite for boxing, I'd guess that they would close off the upper tier for this.

Have heard a few ideas about the name. Should be fun if true! I think its bullshit McD got stripped, but good luck to Hall and Hobson.

He got stopped by Jamoye in December so he's dropped back in the queue and he's struggling to get fights because there's no suitable venues in Bristol and Sanigar doesn't have a TV deal.

Was Hall any more deserving of that Intercontinental shot that has got him this World title shot? Which of Halls win's before that Intercontinental shot justified a World ranking with the IBF?

Good luck to him and all but it is a wholly undeserved World title shot. I didn't even have him winning his last fight.

I'm a Hall fan but come on, he definately won his last fight. However i do agree haskins will probably feel disappointed right now

Never seen Malinga fight but he has been 12 rounds with Leo Santa Cruz ( Mini Margarito ) so he is obviously one tough b*stard.

Pretty sure the commentators had him just losing it. I can try and drag up a link to the RBR thread too to confirm the majority on here didn't have him winning as well.

Like I say, good luck to him, I'd say this about my favourite fighters as well if the same situation cropped up in their favour, but in my opinion it is a very undeserved shot.
