No.
Did you see the 11th round of Froch/Kessler II? Three flush power shots landed by Kessler, full weight behind them. Froch wobbles a bit but then charges straight back. Numerous other examples in other fights.
Taylor was a flash knockdown after a shot to the top of the head.

Noone is knocking out Froch. Noone.
no mate I didn't see it but I'd stand by what I just said. Maybe Kessler's shots landed in a different place. If Froch ships what Paul Smith shipped (possible) then it's good night Vienna. Groves isn't a sacrificial lamb, imo. Also Carl can start slow. I think Groves going to look much more composed than some people think.
I saw Carl Froch box live once, by accident - Tatevosyan, cut the ring down in two strides, I have to say he was impressive that night.
Does anyone know how Groves got on when sparring with Kessler? Groves looks confident and that sparring must be a reasonable barometer for him to understand his chances.

Froch wobbled and Kessler tried to finish him off, but he didn't have enough left in him to do it, you're making out like Froch took some heavy shots then threw some more of his own. He can be hurt, he can be bullied, he can be outboxed, he can be outfought, he isn't some sort of all crushing terminator.

Smith doesnt have the greatest chin in the world though to be fair.

exactly. History of boxing proves otherwise I'm afraid. Even Andre Ward admits there's a style to beat any fighter, including himself, and he beat Froch. In fairness the poster RB just told me Froch could have held the shot that put Smith away. NO way on Earth. Discussion over.

Give me strength You don't hold shots like that. Taylor put Froch off his feet with a shot he didn't see coming that wasn't all that powerful. I'm not saying he'll do it, to be honest it looked like a very rare occurrence, but GG has power to beat Carl Froch, don't be fooled otherwise. Paul Smith's chin has nothing to do with this whatsoever Columbo
People talk like Froch chin is titanium. Froch is a great fighter no doubt & can punch very hard and is a tough man, but he is also very stiff, a lot slower/sluggish in his last few fights and rely's on his chin to much of late IMO. It's only a matter of time before that punch resistance goes, anyone gets tagged on the sweet spot by a shot they don't see coming and over you go, simple.

Groves beat an Olympic champion, froch lost to one ! Froch has fought at a much higher level, but like Barry Hearn said, we dont know how good groves is yet !
This will be an interesting fight, froch will be a massive favorite but it wouldn't shock me if groves pulled this off. Can't wait

I'm dumbfounded how anyone can think Groves has Froch rattled. He's pissed off for sure, probably he feels he needs to be in order to find some way of getting up for this fight, but rattled he's certainly not, thats just nonsense and signals piss poor judgement IMO.
If he's pissed off he's rattled.
So many people on this thread appear to think that rattled means scared livid
No, your wrong, to be rattled means to be worried or nervous, Froch is neither. He appears to be annoyed and a bit angry hence why I say pissed off, but rattled he definately is not.
Never said he was. Someone else said Froch couldn't have taken the shot Groves hit Smith with, which is nonsense considering the shots he has shipped in the past. He might have been staggered but there's nothing to suggest Groves hits harder than Kessler, nothing.
here you go, slow mo at 1:03:00. If you think Groves brings more than that in one shot as opposed to three, nice hand sir, agree to disagree. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxh9cgpbTtA

You mean you've googled it and found it says 'to make someone nervous, worried or irritated' and conveniently left the latter out of your post.
George will start to lose his discipline and mix up his game plans mid fight due to frustration of Carls chin hurting his knuckles, carl whilst correctly saying he has bean in with and beaten the best, really only has a couple of very very effective simple plans which can be an advantage, it will transpire into a swinging contest around 8 and 9 and I think groves will get hurt badly but we will see, it could be georges night, it won´t but it could have been.

Load of yes men hyping a fight that needs hyping, especially as its PPV ( joke ) any which they can.
The trash talking is embarrassing from both. Heard better and more intimidating put downs in the junior school playground. Neither are good at this 'needle, grudge match' malarkey
Bang on!!! Embarrassing for all involved. Comparing it to Eubank v Benn - give me a break! I would have preffered the "both men respect each other and its going to be good fight" than this buid up. Makes me want to watch it LESS!
100% agree. Froch by no means looked totally cool or anything and Groves did get on his nerves but he would've got on anyone's nerves the way he was acting. Seemed forced to me as well, he's not a natural talker, not really sure he believed what he was saying himself judging by the way he was saying it. Seems to have fooled a few people though. I'm not saying Groves can't win the fight, but I woudln't say that Froch is "rattled" is if to say he's scared of Groves.

You're not honestly trying to compare Degale with Ward are you?! Ward is on another level to Degale.

I've noticed you don't actually watch much boxing but still have strong opinions on fights.
I find this pretty foolish because I can't imagine being able to analyze fights without having studied the intricacies of what the fighters do by watching the fights. With YouTube you also have no excuse
Can you understand where I am coming from?
