I was thinking the same apart from Brook. I expect him to win inside, Rose is a toss up and i agree Hopkins should win on points. Odds are pretty awful on every bout this weekend. Think I'll leave it.Deno1986 wrote:I think Maciel beats Rose and Hopkins won't stop Murat in a month of Sundays. Brook stopping Senchenko is another I wouldn't be waging money on. The rest should be ok for you.

Re: Betting thread
Let's have views on tonight then!?
C Smith - KO in what round?
A Joshua - Surely it has be round 1 or 2? The new 'Bruno' is looking very good indeed!
D Wilder - I saw Ladbrokes slashed it (R1-2) from 11/10 to 5/6
Anymore for anymore? I'm leaving Brook and Rose alone................

I would be too. Hopkins isn't going to ko anyone. That's a loser right there.WelshJack wrote:Callum Smith 1/9
Anthony Joshua 1/50
Brian Rose 11/8
Kell Brook inside 12 8/13
Deontay Wilder inside 10 1/25
Bernard Hopkins inside 12 4/1
Arthur Abraham 1/10
What do you think of this accumulator? £5 returns £155 only one I am worried about is Hopkins.
Re: Betting thread
Arsenal to win
Leicester to Win
Villa/Everton draw
Inter Milan to win
10/1
Still not sure what I fancy in the boxing. I'm leaning towards a Maciel stoppage win.

I put £10 on Senchenko - I'll get £80 back if it comes in.

Coyle to beat Simpson. Can't see Simpson troubling Coyle with power and it's a big jump up the weights for him. Coyle may even stop him but ill be taking 4/9 outright.
Also fancy Browne to beat Towers @ 1/2.

Re: Betting thread
Do you not think Browne/Towers is a tossup without much to surmise from form? Browne seems a bit sturdier to me, which could be crucial. I have no idea about this one, but it should be a fun brawl while it lasts. The Insider wrote:Coyle to beat Simpson. I just think Brownes aggression and power will put Towers into his shell. My only worry is Browne seems to rely on his reflexes a lot which may leave him a bit open.

After what can only be described as an awful october betting wise, I'm looking forward to turning it round this month. England -3 seems good value.
Football wise, chelsea @ Newcastle is 4/6 and utd away to fulham @ 8/13 looks like a nice double. Every 10 wins you 16

Re: Betting thread
OK boyz, I have a fun accumulator on.
Coyle
Golovkin 1-6
Perez
Browne/Towers to end inside 3
Froch stoppage
pays 25/1.
How'd I do?
Feel like the biggest risk is the Browne/Towers under, but I just think these oafs will be clubbing at each other from the off and someone will fall, and fast.
Also, there is a chance Perez could get clipped but he seems the superior boxer to Mago...
I'm gonna do a hedge accumulator I think with Browne/Towers inside 6 and Mago. Confident about the other picks.

I don't get football betting. Is there really any money to be made in it since the oddsmakers never make a mistake? Apart from non-league betting? Or is it mostly just for fun for those who do it.
Re: Betting thread
Just a bit of fun on a wet Saturday afternoon in front of Soccer Saturday on the box. I never really bet more than a tener on football. In saying that I've made a decent bit of money on it since start of season.Riddick Blowe wrote:I don't get football betting. Re: Betting thread
Putting a double on U6.5 in Towers/Browne and U5.5 in Stevens/Golovkin. Works out at just under 5/2.
Perez looks in good shape so going to lay a bit on him too. Punch power aside, the Russian is very limited.

Looks good. Golovkin is going to make a statement. Luckily I put another accumulator on with the under 6 for the Browne fight, so I'm still on.Deno1986 wrote:![]()

Re: Betting thread
There's definitely money to be made, just look at the price for man u today. 8/13 was pretty daft. In general, the bookies tend to overprice well supported teams so when they are out of form, there is money to be made.Riddick Blowe wrote:I don't get football betting. I know the above might sound like a contradiction but utd have been missing a lot of chances/hitting the woodwork recently rather than bang out of form. If you pick a few teams to follow, objectively, you can win.
