That is a shocking stoppage, didn't check the gloves or ask him to walk forwards, fornicating ridiculous. I've had enough of that twat Halling and prick Watt, someone please sack them, they are awful commentators, completely biased, favour one fighter completely in every fight and don't actually know what they're on about.
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Hmm not sure about that for a stoppage, even though Simpson was down a couple of times I'm not sure he was out of it. Wasn't sure if Coyle was well on top before that though cause I had drifted over to Match of the Day

Anyone any idea what the fornicate Edwards was doing? He have a bet on round 7 TKO or something?
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Still think Coyle would have won, but Simpson was not hurt there
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Boom Boom!
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Didn't ask him to come forward or anything. He wanted the fight to be over imo.
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Definitely, I've never had a problem with him before, but Edwards had an absolute shocker tonight, shouldn't referee again till after Christmas now.crusader wrote:Didn't ask him to come forward or anything. He wanted the fight to be over imo.

Coyle's a nice boxer, but he's an accident waiting to happen. Pings his chin up in the air after punching way too often, matter of time before someone does another Derry on him unless he fixes that. Lucky that Simpson is a featherweight with short arms....

Terrible stoppage, don't think Coyle has improved since his last fight

Maybe Edwards was busting for a piss...crusader wrote:Didn't ask him to come forward or anything. He wanted the fight to be over imo.

Steve Wood is getting some TV time tonight.

He looked much better last fight imo.Matt Teague wrote:Terrible stoppage, don't think Coyle has improved since his last fight

The stoppages are getting silly now, it getting beyond a joke.
John Simpson took the fight at 4 weeks notice, so for me that loss can be omitted from the records.

Shocking stoppage.. To be fair Coyle was boxing very well he deserves some credit. In saying that I had a feeling Simpson was going to get to him late on. He has to have the worst luck ever
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Browne beat Toney easily. Only reason he did not KO him was that it would have been a shitty way for Toney to lose his never KOed record.danconnollyeire wrote:Toney exposed him a while backDMA1987 wrote:So disappointed in Towers tonight. Exposed I guess.
Seems a lovely bloke Browne, though I don't think either are going far!
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
When's the main event?
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Ogogo is a yes man, praises the house fighter and talks in clichés. Glenn McCrory doesn't know what he's on about, the man knows little about boxing, the same can be said for Jim Watt. Sack Smith, Watt, McCrory and bring fighters on that actually have the balls to say what they really think and put Ed Robinson in charge with Woodhall and Nelson as the main pundits.Groove Armada wrote:How can Glen Mccory be hired when he can't even speak bloody English?
Agogo talk crap as well.

I liked Paul Dempsey and Ritchie Woodhall really is top notch
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
No thanks to Richie Woodhall as a pundit, but I agree that the current crop are poor.
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Simpson was cheated not defeated.
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Im one of the few that isnt a huge Woodhall fan. I think he's good but he can be a yes/company man just like the others mentioned.
Re: Hull Show - Sat 2nd November- RBR
Might just be that he's on less so it's less noticeable. I don't mind Dave Clark though, he's enthusiastic and all he does really is ask questions, which is what he's supposed to do. I know Smith does the same, but he runs things and is responsible for who's on as pundits. He wasted a whole episode of ringside on book reviews, most of it trying to promote his own book. He always has his mate McCrory on and has Watt commentating every time, surely it's time for some variety. In truth, what's needed is a Roy Keane type pundit, who's brutally honest and says it as it is, or at least how they see it and isn't afraid to argue with the other pundits.columbo wrote:Im one of the few that isnt a huge Woodhall fan.
