groves has done nothing to suggest he's at frochs level . ko ing lower level fighters is meaningless when it comes to fighting at world level. when froch was fighting lower level fighters he was putting them away also. its a different story when you are in against guys that know how to take the sting out of punches or avoid them in the main. how many of these world class fighters that groves has sparred did he knock out in sparring with his phenomenal one punch power?
maybe groves has what it takes to step up.....we will know soon enough when he gets in with froch. those who are questioning froch's credentials are fools or wind-up merchants, he has proven time and again he's a top level hard nut and world class fighter.

Froch was knocking them over up to a certain level, same as Groves. I don't see much difference really, Froch probably more of a cumulative puncher than George but Froch can still bang, he's just fought proper world level opponents.

This fight will probably be more about chins and tactics than who's got the hardest dig. Froch knows Groves has a potential weakness in the chin area so will be gunning for it.

Yep pretty much sums it up. I'm sure there are several guys in the super middleweight division that have bigger 1 punch power than Froch, it's just they lack in all the other departments.

Few would disagree Matthyse hits harder than Danny Garcia. Didn't stop Mattyhse getting outboxed and dropped. Same will happen to Groves

Froch has the sturdier chin and experience, but do not forget that GG has sparred Dirrell/HAye/Kelssler/Froch/Barker and others.,he must know how to look after himself.

I would go as far to say that as a SM, GG hits harder than JT - AA - AD and Ward and is on a par with Kessler, but with better speed.
