Australian Media is claiming the Murray Woods fight is now off? Any truth?

If it is true I do feel sorry for Martin Murray, since the Maravilla fight he has not been able to get anything go his way at the moment.

I'm thinking the same thing. May be away of saying who would you rather robed you of $50 before Christmas. At least Woods is fighting a young hungry fighter.

How about both fights on one Card? Will be worth the ticket price.

Bet they cannot afford to shell out for both fights due to high purse demands of Mudine vs Mosley would not leave enough in the pot for Wood & Murray.

Fight is cancelled but lucky he has been added to fight on the Froch vs Groves undercard which is good as pretty close to where is from in St Helens.

Be good to see Murray on a big show, can't do any harm for him in the future. Wonder who the opponent will be at this (relatively) short notice.

This not going down well in Australia.
The headline has been amended. Originally it was: Mundine- Trying to sell tickets or just a dickhead?

Yes the fights is off. We were told of this yesterday, but Richard Poxon has done a deal with Eddie Hearn to get Martin on the Froch v Groves undercard.

Nice to see promoters promoting and working together for the good of the sport and not 100% about their own wallet. Well done Hatton and Matchroom.

(I'm not silly enough to think they would still do it if they didn't make money. Before someone else says it)

think the money will have already been made with the show selling out and the PPV numbers. I nearly got me some tickets but instead watching in glorious HD for £14.95 with a few mates
