I am writing on behalf on Roy Navarro who fought on an officially sanctioned IL fight on August 30. His bout is listed as a newspaper win. I thought "newspaper wins" went out the door 100 years ago. In any event, he stopped his opponent in the first round. It is noted in the comments that his opponent was dropped twice by body shots.
However, his listed record does not count this fight as a win. How do we go about correcting this?

It shows as a newspaper win... you have to provide evidence that it was a KO/TKO win... Best would be an official commission report which we apparently never received, but even a link to a You-Tub_ video would be better than nothing... or a newspaper article where it is stated that he not only won, but also how he won.

This was sanctioned by the state of Illinois. In any case...

Navarro TKOs Bokhart
Welterweight Roy Navarro (3-0, 2 KOs) of Chicago, IL, scored a brutal TKO at 1:16 of the first after landing a thudding right hand to the body against William Bokhart (1-11) of Mishawaka, IN. Navarro punished his late sub to the body with left and rights, scoring his first knockdown with a left hook to the body and his second, which ended the bout, with a right uppercut to the body.

The next fighter brought his own cheering section as Roy Navarro and William Bokhart, squared off in the ring and it was clear that Roy's body attack was too much for Bokhart who showed grit. After the first knockdown he got up and continued to press on, landing a couple good shot before another body shot ended the night for Bokhart and Navarro improves to 3-0.
