Muhammad Ali vs. Jimmy Young

The Associated Press scored it 69-66 {9-6-0 in Rounds} for Jimmy Young.

The AP reported, that it wasn't really that close, as they scored several Rounds for
Muhammad Ali, based upon his presence in the Ring, and not his performance.

If Muhammad Ali was 'not' a Champion, and if this bout was between two 'equal fighters'
that nobody knew anything about, Jimmy Young would have won by a much wider margin.

The last time we had this kind of 'outrageous scoring' by Ringside Judges was when
Joe Louis fought Jersey Joe Walcott.
It was a contentious decision...not the worst I have seen by any means. Young was not deserving of the title. I had Ali the winner. The judges scored for Ali unanimously. . . This fight and Norton III Ali's most controversial decision...I saw Ali winning both...watched the third Norton fight the other day...

Jimmy Young scored the Decision Win, but not with a 'Herculean Effort'.

More technical, and very economical in his accurate punching.

Muhammad Ali did,,,,,,,,,'nothing'.

In case anyone was in doubt, it is of course totally untrue that the AP said they only scored it close because of Ali's "presence in the ring".

The UPI meanwhile scored it for Ali by a wide margin.

If Ali loses to Young, then the lucrative Ali-Norton Yankee Stadium fight goes out the window.

What we do have here?

A done Muhammad Ali won a hotly disputed decision over the only other boxer who was able to beat a prime George Foreman.

Where is your proof of this...are you accusing them of taking bribes!!??

What part of the fact that the image of you riding around on your lawn mower typing furiously away about Muhammad Ali is "laugh out loud" funny don't you understand?

Then it is a pity that Young did not try to win the fight.

Ali boxed like shit, but you don´t win a championship fight by sticking your head through the rope to avoid punches.

Young has more himself to blame, than any judge that was bustin' on him for his nonsense.

Muhammad Ali had already agreed to meet Richard Dunn, well before he defended his Title
against Jimmy Young.

Muhammad Ali received a $1,000,000 Fight Purse ''deposit' from the German Promoters.

And, there were $26,000,000 in Fight Purse Contracts being circulated around for bouts
with Antonio Inoki, Ken Norton and George Foreman.

Does anyone really think that 'Little' Jimmy Young was going to get a 'fair shake'.........

Cmon....Obama spoke with authority and vigor when he promised his health care plan would be a ray of sunshine for all. If that aint proof of the truth just drippin' off my statement...then I'm afraid I can't help you.

Didn't happen.

But I digress.

I wanted to say I can't get that image of you out of my mind. The one with you astride a sit-on mower in your Klan uniform doing Thatone's back lawn while furiously banging away on the laptop slung around your neck...

I am personally amazed that this guy is allowed to come on here day after day and spam this forum with lies and outright slander and the clueless mods just allow it to go on and run the board to the ground. Several people have written to me saying between this joker and Vladimirs pointless and endless fantasy matchups (does anybody really give a shit if Marco Geraldo could beat Joe Lipsey???) that they are done here. I havent been nearly as active on this forum because of those two guys and frankly Im done now. I find it hard to believe that someone with as much common sense and integrity as John would allow the mods to blindly and gleefully run what used to be the most professional, no-nonsense board on the net completely into the toilet. I understand wanting to be diplomatic and not "that guy" who knee jerk bans anyone he doesnt agree with but basically, in a very short time span, this forum has gone down the exact same path that ultimately killed the CBZ (minus Gordoom banning anyone who didnt lick his or his cronies boots). I can safely say, judging by the others who are rapidly deciding to step back, that Im in good company. Have fun wasting your time on the prattle that vladimir and il douche dump on this forum.

And yes, I realize that you dont have to read these posts, but when there are so many each day that they literally bury the posts that actually have anything worthwhile to say then it becomes a complete waste of time. Just go look at what Scribbs did the CBZ with his incredible regurgitation of posted links to news articles that directed traffic AWAY from the CBZ not to it while burying the actual active discussions. You are essentially seeing the same thing and I cant help but wonder how long its going to take anyone who cares about this forum to actually clean it up. I can give two suggestions before I spend all my time at checkhook: 1. Curb the bullshit from Il Douche or ban him outright, god knows hes spouted off enough to warrant. Far more in fact than what got him banned on all the other forums hes been on. 2. Create a seperate sub-forum for fantasy matchups so vladimir can run wild to his boxing related turrets syndrome hearts content...

So long guys. Drop me a line when the madness ends.
