Apparently he has talks with Matchroom at the time but chose to go to MH.

He wasn't happy with Warren, he's not happy with Mick, let's face it his career has been a PR disaster and he has no following to speak of, he's got a style which hasn't particularly excited in the past he should look closer to home rather than complaining about his promoters.

He's not done too much wrong, really won the European Title, ranked in top 10 of all major governing bodies. Don't really understand the anti-Degale brigade. The negative PR mostly comes from his media persona before the Groves fight, which is all just promotional nonsense anyway. His style isn't that unappealing - if Brian Rose can get a world title shot, Degale certainly can. Hennessy should be able to set something up for him and if not, I think Degale's right to ask questions.

He's a good fighter who will be ready for a title shot in 12 months/3 more fights - him being injured may be a blessing in disguise - boxers mature at different times and he's had to work on things out of the spotlight. I don't mind him to be honest, he made a show of himself with Groves but he's doing well enough and won't fall apart, he's got just about everything.

sauerland signing a major uk fighter on Monday I think its either price or degale! it would suit degale to go and fight in Germany cos he doesn't have a uk fanbase!

Assuming he gets through Saturday, if he sticks with Hennessy his best prospect is getting a bigger fight as chief support on Haye-Fury. Where he goes after that is anybody's guess.

Mick has so much riding on Tyson it's unreal. If he wins, he's got his foot back in the door with Sky and could make some serious £££££ through PPV. A defeat and he'll be on his arse.

Mick has done well to even get him to the position he's in
DeGale was damaged goods when he took over
DeGale has no supporters and does not draw a crowd
Every TV company in the states (HBO/SHO) is not interested

His post fight interviews turn everyone against him

Matchroom could not do anything better

There fighters fight for peanuts on the road
Mick gets top dollar for his fighters when they travel

Barker was making 70,000 for his World Title fight
Bet DeGale is making more fighting Davis than that

I think DeGale needs to look in the mirror a bit and realize that he's not a star
and work with his team.
Everyone critisises Mick , but he's taken fighters all the way to the top and done so on his terms.

^^ you a Hennessy !

Degale has shown impatience before with his previous promoter then leaves him for henessy who's main draw froch left him after extremely poor success . Froch should of been a household name.

Degale is also looking drained!

Froch isn't a household name and never will be, Hennessey did everything he could for him, got him a world title fight in Nottingham, defended it against Taylor in the US and the next defence at home, he was just limited by that he didn't have a TV deal.

I think most head there after a weigh in. Seen lots of boxers in the IFilm videos mention that's where they are off to.

To be fair he had just won the European title under Warren. I would expect his career would have progressed more to this point under Warren that it has under Hennessey.

His profile is static, its probably lower now than when he left Frank and is due to fight in front of less that 2000 tomorrow.

As for him earning over 70k tomorrow - are you joking? Surely lucky to be half that.

Why did it only take a couple of defences of the WBC Silver belt to get Bellew into mandatory position yet Degales made a few of his yet doesnt seem to be in proper realistic contention :??
