This revelation opens up many mysteries as Tyson has stated how easy it was to cheat the test. This answers a lot of question on how boxers who I was sure were on steroids never failed.

In the wake of Lance Armstrong and the Jamaican athletics team scandal it is becoming increasingly apparrent that many sports are completely rife with drug cheats.
I know that there are many guys on this forum who are qualified in the subject....what is the answer...what is the future?

Although Mike has further shamed himself at least it has opened up a can of worms...

It does make you wonder how fights would've turned out if fighters were drug free, the sad thing is for the most part we will never really know who took them or when.

I don't believe the story, because the man had a natural fitness/physique that bellied his years even as a thirteen year old boy when he first came to Cus. Nor do I believe Atlas would have allowed such things to of gone on while at the training camp in Catskill.

Besides, Tyson failed drug tests before in the past. When he fought Golota it was originally a TKO 3rd round victory, then quickly switched to a No Contest because he had marijuana in his system. Where was the 'Whizzer' then?

It's just a bunch of cock and bull stories being said, so for Tyson to continue making money and get out of the debt he has amassed. I mean, every story, every account up until recently tells a completely different story than what he tells now--- that his mother was an alcoholic, etc. and in the early Tyson lore, it was said his mother worked two-three jobs and was always on Tyson's ass to behave, etc.

I believe it...but as an earlier poster wrote not in his heyday...post long term prison and definitely post 2nd prison..he was virtually apocolyptic. Tyson believes that todays fighter cannot compete if he is not on PED's...Tyson seems to be very candid and self critical.

Cocaine is not gonna help a fighter imo. I thought Tyson said he used the fake penis thing because he used coke? I'm not even sure they even tested for roids in boxing while Tyson was coming up

You are right it is coke...however tyson has opened the eyes as to another way that cheaters have been beating the system....one guy done a search on these wizzers which come in white, black and latino and said that the latino model is out of stock...not sure if that was a poor joke or not.
