Game fighter, he came and had a go I thought.

Glad the fella is all good. Boxing needs these people.

It's why I thought Eubank was a prat with the show boating whilst his opponent lay hurt.

Come on Gomez its all part of his act....I mean persona

I dont think from what weve seen of his power so far he will have to many times to do what daddy did and face the camera.

Once again I would assume that Borg had a last min call and Eubank had know for a while that it was highly possible hat he would be on the show so I think Frankie gave a decent account of himself and would be interested to know what the earlier 4 rounds were like as Ronnie Davies didnt sound to sure before sending JR out for the 6th ?

I'm not getting on a soap box mate, but when your dad fought Michael Watson, well you just show off when they're back on their feet.

Daniel Mackinnon got rushed into hospital last in some WBO qualifier, suffering serious brain bleed.

I totally get what you are saying and this is a dangerous business but I am sure you will agree that if you asked a fighter if they did something like that intentionally following a fight and weighed up all of the points you quite rightly make they would tell you that in the heat of/aftermath of the battle it was the last thing on their mind .

It always saddens me to hear of an injury and hope that Daniel Mackinnon makes a full recovery.

I understand and like I said, it's part of 'show' but by the same token I've seen dozens of fights were celebrations were paused until the stricken opponent was up.

Only when there has been bad blood and the man on the canvas has been telling everyone he's gonna rearrange your face and win by stoppage, does it give the winner the right to beat their chest over them.

I suppose it's just ring etiquette and the situation of the fight.

But I don't like seeing a man who is clearly being brought in to lose, be then humiliated into the bargain before being sent off to hospital.

Perhaps I just think Eubank jr comes across as an obnoxious twat and its clouding my opinion. Who knows he might be the nicest lad around off camera and he is building the 'villain' up.

He didn't know he was badly hurt though did he? He'd just dropped him and then looked into the camera instead of watching Borg try to get up, he didn't do somersaults or run around the ring screaming did he? And again, he didn't know the lad was hurt,

This. He could hear the ref counting and had no idea Borg was hurt.
