Is Mick Hennessy finished?

Post by lefty »

Eubank jnr has left, Degale looks very unhappy with how things are going and his big money spinning fight has just been torpedoed! Thoughts?

I'm sure Mick will always have the chance of getting some fighters, it's attractive to be fighting on channel 5 where they get decent viewing figures and he still has Tyson/Hughie Fury

He still has Galahad too. Tyson and Galahad will go further than DeGale and Eubank Jr. They are more marketable too.

Did you see Galahad with Eddie in that Ifilm interview the other day though mate? He looked like he was putting himself in the shop window.

I dont know mate, was just a video of El Maachi banging on about himself. Dont think him and Hearn actually said a word to each other did they? Just looked like a bit of a chance meeting with Kugan filming it all, as he does.

It must be soul destroying to take a boxer who isn't the highest level amateur and bring them on and then when they get to a better stage they want to get off, just dump you and swan off for greener pastures. It must be really galling.

He's got a good stable has Hennessy & it does seem to be diminishing!!
The channel 5 involvement started out great but then slashed resources have left mick lost, he must be under a lot of pressure. Had degale already fought for a world title I can assure you he'd of lost at this stage!!good win & scalp last night with 12 good rounds in the bag

Ah man he was waffling on like nobodies business! He was saying how he'd kick Galahad's ass aswell which is bizarre considering the difference in weight.

Banging on about a time he sparred Galahad and took it easy on him. Then about his prizefighter win. Was alright for about 10 seconds, but he did about 7 minutes worth. Should say it all that he out talked Galahad.

what depths do you need to reach to speculate about whether a stranger's career as a promoter is done? Would it make you glad?

not bitching "mate", it's just crap. Sometimes I see a title and don't even need to look who started it. I don't care for your swearing much either. Stay classy. :TU:

I dont care if you dont like swearing. You hardly even watch fights and you have an opinion on the fighters talents and so on.

yes, NorthEastBoxingFan. I should have shortened it 6 years ago really but I never thought.

I ain't put you on ignore yet Columbo. It wasn't a "similar" thread you created a lazy duplicate thread when mine was still on page one.
It's more the ass-kissing and over-familiarity, constant question asking - now speculating on whether Mick Hennessey is "finished". You're a bit too much for me. I wish you luck, I think it would benefit you to go out and talk to "real" people more.

One minute you're criticising me for my constant "ass kissing" and over familiarity and in the same sentence you say im constantly slating people. As GGG *George ginger Groves* would say, you're contradicting yourself. You're clearly not a very pleasant fellow so im sure il cope without your amazing and profound input :TU:
