Is the fight gonna be on sky and at the MEN? If not do Channel 5 really stump up enough money to make these fights against the bigger names? The Cunningham fight was made because it was over in New York and also shown on an American tv channel which will have generated some decent money. I really struggle to see how a fight against someone like (just plucking a few names here) Stiverne, Arreola or Wilder can be made on Channel 5 at a 5,000 seat venue.

Adamek is defo the preference and always has been but no way he travels to the UK. Not unless they offer something incredible and they can't afford that.
I think Thompson is ideal. Has a name in the UK, is willing to travel and is very beatable. Think his wins over Price were as much big David being pitched in too early as opposed to Thompson actually being that good.

The Helenius project seems to have completely hit the skids since he won the robbery against Chisora. Pulev doesn't do anything special but everything well and has dealt with a few big lads quite easy. Arreola is a huge puncher but otherwise a slob who presents little threat after 3-4 rounds. All good fights but likely regarded as high risk low reward. Don't forget Adamek beat Arreola pretty handily. Though his power poses a risk to any heavyweight not good enough to stop him landing.

I would fancy Fury against Price, Chisora again, Adamek, Thompson and Arreola but think Pulev would break him up. As for Wilder..............who knows. It seems clear that Wilder's people have little or no faith in his ability to compete with the elite level. 30 fights and the biggest wins on his record are against Audley and Liakhovich.
